I think brides wanna see more real people in the dresses the like. I have been considering starting a web site that has all real brides in the gowns by designer. Apparently not everyone agrees with me if you read some of my threads. However I still think it would be a great add for Brides to Be.

I definitely agree with you! It's so much more helpful to see a design on a real person rather than the model. It could be a real size 2 or a real size 20, it's always better and more insightful on how the dress really looks!
Honestly, blogging is mostly about the pictures. The wit is great, but it's the pictures that catch readers eyes and draw them in. I read many blogs daily on all sorts of topics from weddings to health law to yoga and the ones that are in my reader first are the ones that tend to have all the pictures. I read my health law and food policy updates last, because generally, they're boring and don't have any flashy pics! :P
@amberdawn1064: Agreed! People put posts on here all the time about "show me what a real girl looks like in a Maggi #...."
People click on things that have pictures. We love to see stuff.

@amberdawn1064: I agree with you too!! When I first saw my dress on the designer's website I looked right past it. I didn't like it, but when I saw a real bride on here with it I instantly fell in love. I then googled more pics of it and then found it so I could try it on! I would love a website with "real" brides!
I also like seeing DIY projects that tell you how to do it. I love it when the Bees share ideas of things they've done. I hate it, though, when websites tell you about some great DIY thing the bride made and then they don't tell you how to do it yourself (*cough*theknot*cough*). It's like they're trying to protect national security secrets or something.
