Hi, just want to get an idea of the proportion of couples out there that have his & her rings matching colour metals. I know that not every couple have the same tastes in the metal colour choice. I love yellow gold but my Fiance wants white/silver.
Obviously it is an individual preference
For the poll,
Yellow = yellow golds/metals
White = white golds/metals, platinum, silver colours
Two-tone = mix of yellow + white, or titanium types

My fiance and I both chose white gold, but that it is only because we have the same preference. I feel like you both should get what you want. The wedding rings no matter what the color signify your love for one another, so pick what you will both be happy with for the rest of your lives. 🙂

My e-ring is white and rose gold, both our wedding bands will be rose gold

I will have one platinum ring and one yellow gold ring. He will have a two tone ring, so matches to some extent.

Well we did have matching metals (both white gold) until I found I was allergic to nickel. So now mine is yellow (I like yellow better anyway and he prefers white so maybe it was a blessing lol) but they have the same carved pattern so they match like that instead. Not that we’ll be wearing them til September though.

Even though we have different metals, we both have white or grayish metals.

I have white gold to match my e-ring and Fiance has a yellow & white gold ring… He prefers yellow gold but wanted the 2-tone to have a similarity to mine.

I don’t know why I voted “different color metals”…we both have grey/white gold/silver tones. We have different metals…mine is a white gold half eternity band (so you really just see diamonds), and FIs is tungsten carbide…a brushed charcoal grey. Sooo pretty.

we have matching metals – white gold with half of our initals in silver and if you put the two rings together, you can see the full letters. it wouldn’t really have made as much sense if we had 2 different colours.

we both have white gold rings. it wasn’t intentional..we both just picked what we like!

Mine is white gold and his is white tungsten carbide

Mine is white gold prong-set half eternity, and his is black tungsten carbide (made by Triton). At some point before our wedding, I am going to get a black tungsten carbide band for when I don’t want to wear all of my sparkles, or for when I am doing something and don’t want to risk losing a stone. I’ll probably use a JVL free ring coupon code when I’m ready to order. I voted “other” for that reason.
