So one of my favorite things to do is walk into Sephora (or any department store for that matter) and spend wayy too much time in the perfume section. This got me thinking! What is your "signature" perfume, and what do you think it says about you?
I actually have two. The one I wear on a daily basis is "Black Amethyst" from Bath and Body Works. I know, I know! It's not fancy at all but it's my favorite. I don't really know how it's "me", but it is FI's favorite and mine as well.

For more fancy occasions or when I remember to wear it, I lovelovelove Vera Wang's "Princess"! Even the bottle is enough for me to buy it. I got it on my 18th birthday, and have sparingly used it since then so it would last!

My favorite is actually Very Sexy Now: Brazil. I got it at Victoria's Secret's semi-annual sale one year and I love it. It's more of a summer fragrance, but as soon as it gets warm I bust it out :).
@jo.lee: Ooooh I love the Very Sexy collection at VS!! I haven't tried the "Brazil" but it looks great! Have you smelled the Very Sexy for men? I absolutely love the light blue color one for FI, I can't remember what it's called though. I also think they've stopped selling it but YUM!
@Loribeth: Gardenias are so pretty! That's a pretty light scent, I'm assuming, right?
I used to wear Happy by Clinque almost daily. I thought that was a great scent for me because it was light, yet perky!
Now, I've switched to Mackie after noticing a friend had it on. I immediately had to buy it and have been wearing it regularly for the last year. It's a scent developed in the 90's and has an alluring, fresh, fruity/yet spicy, long-lasting scent that draws compliments from many! It's not available in dept. stores, but is very inexpensive! Yum!
@melisslp: Ah! I used to wear "Happy" too! I was debating on whether to put "Happy" up instead of "Princess" but since I haven't worn "Happy" in years I chose the other. It's such a pretty scent, do they still make it? Ooh- Mackie sounds interesting! I'll have to Google it :)
Organic Honey, Healing gardens. Its cheep, its subtle, it just rocks.
I have 3 'Scarlett' by Cacherel, 'Nina' by Nina Rici and Miss Dior Cherie by Christian Dior

@teacherandageek: Gotta love Happy!
I think I might wear it today for a change of pace! Yes, do try Mackie! I hope you like it as much as I do. I'm going to have to Princess now!
I generally wear Light Blue by D&G

And I love Black Amethyst!! I always buy the foaming soap in that fragrance. I also tend to wear Secret's Wild Jasmine Body Mist, though its discontinued now, so I'm always on the look out for it:

P.S. Sorry for the large pictures!

I have been on a search for my signature perfume for literally 3 years. Guess where I found it? PAYLESS SHOES!!! This is the best smelling perfume!!! It's only $19.99 also!!
I also wear vera wang princess. I am in afghanistan right now and I have gotten about 120 complements on it no lie! Probably because this place stinks and I smell good but I'm happy!
I've used Amazing Grace by Philosophy for about five years now. I'm obsessed with it. It's very light, and almost soapy, with a touch of floral.
I've swiched several times over the years but I'm currently on Versace: Bright Crystal.
@Kelly S: Payless!?! No way! I had no idea they sold perfume there, how neat! Do you buy it online or in the store?
@Koala Bear: Light Blue is my mom's favorite perfume!
@melisslp: Try Princess! It's beautiful. :) She also has out now a couple of different variations of the original, but I haven't gotten around to trying them out.
@simpleandchic: Miss Dior Cherie..... *sigh* lucky girl!!
@LuluLove: Ooh, I like the Philosophy brand items! Very clean and happy-smelling, haha. :)
@PrincessBrideSuzy: That bottle is gorgeous!
I love seeing all these perfumes ladies!
Will you be sticking to your signature for the wedding or trying out something new?
Woman by Versace. It's all I've worn for the past eight years. I love it and I haven't found any other perfume that I like on me that is light enough.

I alternate between 2:

and

Britney's I wear when I'm feeling a bit more flirty, and youthful, and BOSS I wear almost daily. I have others I throw in the mix, as well, but those I wear the most.
I'm another "Happy" girl... although I think I need a new scent, I think my nose is getting too used to it to enjoy it!
I don't really have a signature scent, since I alternate between 4.
Victoria's Secret Heavenly (DH's favorite)
Burberry Brit
Jessica Simpson Fancy Love (Christmas present, but I LOVED it!)
Vera Wang Princess
Curve chill (I also love the crush)
for the wedding I'm going to try the princess
Flower by Kenzo. I have no idea what it says about me, but I get so many compliments when I wear it!
The original Gucci Rush has been my favorite for years. It's becoming harder to find and I'm afraid it's on it's way to being discontinued! After I finish my current bottle of Rush, I'm switching to Flowerbomb. I received it as a gift before our wedding and that's what I wore on the big day, so in addition to smelling divine I like the sentimentality of it too.
I actually have 3 that I rotate.

Nollie is sold by PacSun, which you would think would be for only teenagers, but at $20, this perfume is my every day for a lower price and smells so clean and fresh. I guess it's my every day signature

I wear clinique happy heart when I am going out with DH because he loves this one and it is floraly and romantic. Great summer fragrance too

my going out perfume :)
I'm an Eternity girl... I have been since I was 16. When I don't wear perfurme though, I wear a lavender or coconut scented lotion... lavender in the winter gives me a warm, soothing feeling... and coconut in the summer makes me feel so tropical!

@VagabondGurl: woo! that's a great one! very classic :) (well i'm a young one and I remember it being all the rage in the 90's and i still love the smell!)
I myself will always use WILD by Ralph Lauren. It goes great with my body chemistry and people are ALWAYS complimenting me on it. Even complete strangers at Target have done it. Its crisp yet slightly musky. I love it. :)
This one by Versace was my favorite for the longest time but FI didn't like it so I switched to Journey by Mary Kay

I love Juicy Couture. I will probably wear that on the wedding day :)
I love perfumes... they make you feel so pretty and girly. I have a terrible habit of buying all of the mini VS perfumes around christmas.
My usual going out scent is Clinique Happy... had it since it came out and I love it!
However, my special date night perfume that I am saving my last bits for for the wedding is Victoria's Secret 66. Its discontinued, has been for 8 or 9 years now. Came out in 2002 or 2003 and I got the sample set as it had the 5 different scents. I may break down and order some off ebay. But it's got a such good scent on the skin
I alternate between D&G's "Light Blue" and Gucci's "Flora." Both of them are perfect for me :)
Comme des Garcons Energy 8 Grapefruit, Lolita Lempicka. I also enjoy Lemon at Bath and Body Works.
Origins Ginger Essence. I've worn it almost exclusively for the past 10 years. Its fresh and bright and lively - like Seven-Up!
