My something old is my engagement ring
My something new will be my dress, shoes, headband, etc.
My something blue will be my jewelry - I want to wear either a blue topaz or sapphire cocktail ring and earrings
I have no clue what my borrowed will be! I am hoping that someone will be able to offer me up something to wear!
Old: FI's grandmother gave me an ivory hanky sewn by her grandmother. This will be used as a bouquet wrap.
New: Dress, shoes, veil, etc.
Borrowed: I bought a jacket to wear for pictures from a Bee here. I am counting that as my borrowed.
Blue: Blue undies!
Here's my something blue! (sorry i already posted it somewhere else, but I'm excited for it!! LOL
New: dress
Old: my shoes (unfortunately)
Borrowed: No idea!!!
Sixpence in my shoe: Don't have a sixpence, and my shoe is a sandal....
Something Old: White undies... I bought them years ago and saved a pair for my wedding day.
Something new: Dress, veil etc...
Something Borrowed: I will be borrowing some jewelry from my godmother.
Something Blue: I have blue crystals that I am going to glue on the bottom of my shoe
Sixpense: We are french and I have a French Franc (10ff) coin that I am going to put in my garder. My garder has a little pocket for just for something like this.
My old was my mom's wedding band tied to my bouquet.
My new was my dress.
My borrowed was my dad's wedding, tied with my mom's ring to my bouquet.
My blue was my amazing teal heels!
No sixpence for me...walking on a coin in 3 1/2 inch heels...not my idea of fun. (lol, I know it didn't have to be in my shoe).
The rings were important because my dad passed away 3 years before I got married. It meant a lot to have a symbol of my parents' marriage since they were happily married for so long.
Old: Engagement ring
New: Dress, veil
Borrowed: Rented jewelry!
Blue: "Evil eye" bead that I will wear on an anklet on my wobbly, sprain-prone left ankle and will hopefully protect me from any mishaps that day :)
Old/borrowed: My mom's mantilla veil
New: Dress
Blue: Maybe sapphire jewelry, maybe shoes, if nothing else I will wear a blue hanky panky thong
Sixpence: Probably not ... sounds like it would be uncomfortable
Old: My grandmothers wedding band.
New: Dress & all accessories
Borrowed: My grandmothers hanky that my mom & sister walked down the aisle with.
Blue: Garter & the blue lettering on my white undies.

Old: The 1 carat diamond in my e-ring... it was my FH's great grandmothers.
New: Dress, shoes, headband.
Borrowed: I'm also borrowing one of my FH's button up shirts to wear while getting ready!
Blue: I'm thinking something on my undies ;]
Sixpence: My grandma had a penny in her jewelry box with a heart punched through it, so I'll tape that to the inside of my shoe.

Can someone explain the sixpence? Never heard of this before.

Sixpence - My SIL taped a penny to her leg so that is probably what I will do!!

Hi Bees,
I was wondering if you have decided on your somethings old, new, borrowed, and blue.
Here are mine
Old: Pictures of FI and I on the two screens from baby to present. It will be played while people are beign seated for the wedding.
New: Dress, accessories, etc
Borrowed: A button down shirt of FI's that I will wear while getting ready.
Blue: Panties with Bride in blue on the back
Sixpence: Since I love everything Japanese I wil use one of their coins of currency. it won't be in my shoe, though
