This is rather unique so you’re gonna get a lot of people who will love it or hate it.  For me, I’m not a fan at all.  There’s way too much going on in the halo and looks much too busy for my taste.  I love the detail in the side though.

I really like the halo, and I’m not a halo fan at all.  Too much going on in the band for me though!  Overall I definitely think it’s a cool ring!

Arshim:  I love it! It’s very art deco/vintage looking. Plus, blue nile has a wonderful reputation so if you did not like it, you could always send it back.

Very, very unique and beautiful! I like it a lot. I really love the baguette halo and the pink stone on the underside. Lovely!!

I like the side profile but not so much the setting. I don’t find it to be ugly or anything, just busy. Not my style but if you feel drawn to it then it’s a good choice for you.

Arshim:  I think it is a beautiful ring with many lovely and unique details to it. Have you tried it on yet to see how it looks on your hand? That might be the final deciding factor for you. From your post, it sounds like this lovely lady might be “the one” for you, since you can’t stop thinking about her. That’s just how I ended up with a unique (in that it’s something I never thought I would love — lol) ring, too!

Arshim:  I really like it! I was a ‘but I wouldn’t wear it vote’, only reason is I love yellow gold and would only wear yellow gold. If I were a white gold girl I’d be all over this, I really like the detail, and the pink in it as well!

Arshim:  I like how unique the halo is. It’s a pretty ring. In the photo it looks great, but baguettes usually don’t sparkle enough for my liking so I would probably opt for something else.

I like baugettes that surround a stone with square sides like a emerald cut or princess, I don’t really like them with a round.

Is it from the Monique Lhuillier collection? I love it! I keep getting drawn back to her petal ring.

It’s not something that I would usuallly wear, but I like it. It is interesting and has a lot of detail. Some PPs mentioned that it looks very busy, and it is, but that doesn’t need to be a bad thing. I might be worried whether I would still love it in 10 years. It would be something that I would need to see in person to really decide. Especially if it were something that I could wear everyday.

Arshim:  My solitaire ring is set high and I wear it everyday without problems AND I work with kids. You should just get what you love! I actually like higher set diamonds because I think light hits them better making them more sparkly 🙂 But thats just my opinion.

It’s pretty but not for me though, I really like the halo. I just don’t like how it’s not flush (the halo & stone?), how much the prongs stick out nor the split shank.
