to elaborate: we’re having an open bar and a lot of friends we haven’t seen in a while.  I can’t wait to see everyone and party!  (we are having a full Mass first, so it will certainly be beautiful and romantic, but we’re ready for the fun!)

Us…a giant bonfire, decorations that show our love of the outdoors and nature, laid back, good ‘home-cooked’ food, extreme variety in our music selection, just very genuinely us.

That’s a tough one…I want to say “vintage”, but I feel like that’s way overused, and doesn’t exactly encompass the feel I have going on. I don’t know, it’s very me…the best way to describe it is “casual elegance” which is two words and a total oxymoron, but I’m saying that, anyway!! The other option would be “french provincial”, but, again, that breaks the rules πŸ˜› I suck at this!!

My whole reception was designed around my love for cobalt blue bottles.  I loved the way it all turned out looking!!!

I just asked Darling Husband how he would answer this question, and my younger DSD, who, like DH and I, is sitting at the kitchen table on her computer, chimed in: “Expensive?!” lol. πŸ™‚

Darling Husband said our ceremony was “worshipful,” and I agree. He labeled our reception as, “intense” or “exhausting,” since there really was NO time for us to talk with people or enjoy ourselves, and we were trying (but failing) to squeeze everything in to our very short timeline. He finally settled on “squeezed” or “compacted” for the reception.

Even though I agree with everything they both said, I think, ultimately, I would choose the word “fulfilled,” since I had WAITED what seemed like forever (but was really just until my mid-to-late 40s, lol) for God to finally bring to pass His promised plan for my life regarding marriage. πŸ™‚
