I’m always right. I mean… I think I’m always right. It’s something I’m working on because I realize it’s not a very attractive trait.

I can be REALLY lazy. Embarrassingly lazy.

I can be very judgemental and jealous, like if I deem something to be “unfair” Oooh it makes me angry XD completely juvenile and irrational

I am extremely sarcastic… It really gets over the top sometimes.

I also have a bit of a temper problem. Working on it.

I’m lazy and messy. Not like dirty messy, I just never put anything back. Plus I always say “il do it tomorrow”

I have absolutely zero empathy and I’m not a warm-fuzzy person. Definitely works against me sometimes, haha. I’m also a bit too blunt. I’m not a malicious person, but I sometimes make the mistake of sounding like I am.

@MaidMarian:  Same with me. I’m quick to judge others, which I attribute to growing up in an affluent, 99% white town where if you didn’t have a certain material thing, you were nothing. I’ve gotten better at not doing that as I’ve gotten older, but it’s still a bad habit.

And jealousy, too. I always feel the need to keep up with the Joneses, as they say.

My anxiety disorder breeds a lot of negative traits… insecurity, overanalyzation, and at times, jealousy. I think the worst though is how it makes me not go for things I want or get things done that I need to, because I’m too afraid… or rejection or doing something wrong, I guess.

Oh boy, I have a lot of traits I would like to change. I can be very blunt and snap at people fairly easily. I’m not patient at all. I can attack pretty swiftly and cruelly at times. I’m not proud of any of these traits and I spend a lot of time working with my therapist on this.

@GoldStar:  Can relate 100%, as I have bipolar II and OCD. I was also bullied from the ages of 11-18, so that constant rejection turned me into a person with scant confidence. So I overcompensate with being quick to judge others in order to keep them at arm’s length. I freaking HATE it.

I have a really bad habit of interrupting people during conversation. I notice it and it always embarrasses me but for some reason I always do it! If you ask my Hubs tho he would say my worst habit is leaving lids half on!! lol He gets so mad cause I’ll leave like the toothpaste cap half on, the peanut butter jar lid…etc.

@leenh78:  Right? Let me find something wrong with this person, job opportunity, etc. so that I don’t have to actually face the possibilities of it. Sigh. Maybe we’ll change one day.

@GoldStar:  YES! It sucks having this uncanny knack to see the dark side of everything.

FH has anxiety disorder, too, and is not being treated for it. He said that he just made the harsh choice one day to not worry himself sick over everything. He copes by being aggressively focused and driven with his work.
