I use Makeup For Ever HD foundation :) It's the best I've ever used!! really buildable in coverage, and not oily and gross. Plus, it looks awesome in pictures.

Clinique "Perfectly Real" Makeup. Light but great coverage. And the colors are really good at matching skin tones, IMO. (I'm a 2)

I'm looking forward to hearing responses in this post because I am constantly on the search for a good one. I am planning on trying Miss Rainbow's makeup tutorial.
I use Bare Escentuals foundation for everyday and I'm with blueshoes on the Make Up For Ever HD. But I only wear that on special occasions.
For concealer, I use Benefit Boi-ing! but I'm not in love with it.
I just started using Revlon's PhotoReady foundation and I really love it. I used to use Prescriptives before they went under and I actually like it a LOT more than my old stuff.
It's only $10 and I think it works and looks great.
I don't wear foundation, but I tried on SK-II's air foundation once at a department store. The cost was prohibitive for me, personally, but it's an amazing foundation. When I was walking around the make up section afterwards, several make up artists at the different counters stopped me to compliment me. It fells really light but offeres great, natural-looking coverage.
@Lees: I use MAC StudioFix foundation too...what about it did you hear is bad for your skin?
For concealer I LOVE Benefit Boi-ing! For foundation Everyday Minerals Base works wonders on my skin and yet still looks smooth and natural.
@hilsy: I've heard that it's supposed to be used for the girls who do fashion shows & whatnot and it's supposed to withstand sweat & whatnot. A girl told me she took a class & they looked at some girls skin who wore it & they're skin was pretty damaged.
Hmm interesting. I haven't experienced any bad side effects from it yet...have you?
Not any bad side effects really, I just don't really like the way my face looks. It kind of looks rough. But I don't know if what she said is true, I've just been wanting to try a new foundation for a while now.
I just started using neutrogena 'healthy skin' and I really like it. It covers well, lasts all day, and my skin does like it :)
I love the Makeup Forever HD foundation. It's 400 kinds of amazing.
Since the day I started wearing make up I have worn Mary Kay foundation.
When I was younger all other types of foundation would make my skin break out, and Mary Kay foundation had a great balance w/o too much oil. Now my skin is more dry and still the foundation is flawless. I will never wear anything else :)
I've heard a lot about this HD foundation! Where do you buy it at? Instead of online?
@LEE: I use MAC and it broke me out..my skin looked terrible! i did use Clinique about a year ago and i dont know why but usually when i start with something it looks great, then it just feels like i dont put enough on. BLEH.. Right now i have been using Smashbox for about a month and i LOVE IT! It covers up great and it doesnt feel too heavy/greasy. OH with their concealer, a little goes a long way!
I also use Bare Escentuals. My skin is always really sensitive and I break out in a rash if I change even my face lotion, so this works perfect for me. I can put as much or as little on as I want to get a natural or more polished look.
Laura Mercier makes great stuff. I love the Tinted Moisturizer for foundation. I use her flawless face kit daily.
I use Glo Minerals and really like it. It is not too heavy, more like a sheer tint. It doesn't have talc in it which is bad for your skin.
For formal occasions I like dior:

I found it from a fellow bee :)
For everyday wear I use bare minerals...
I've heard a lot about the HD stuff as well and kinda want to try it!
I like my Clinique Superfit liquid foundation a lot. You can build coverage and it keeps my moderately oily skin under control, for the most part. I'm intrigued by the MUFE reviews though, I might have to try that next.
I used to use MAC powder foundation, and I think it made me break out more - the painful, deep underground kind of zits. :(
bare escentuals. if i need more coverage i just use a foundation sponge instead of the brush to apply the powder foundation
I also use Bare Escentuals. I LOVE it. It's so quick and easy to put on it the morning, and for me the coverage is great. I feel like my skin glows, and I never have any breakouts. I will never switch to anything else!
Wow, so many use Bare Escentuals-I just checked out the website and I'm going to order some! I currently use Mary Kay (have for years) because it has worked better than any other foundation I've tried (Clinique and other brands) but although it's good, it's not great. I think I'll try the Bare Escentuals!
Absolutely adore Cover Girl Aqua Smooth Foundation in the compact. It's easy to carry with you, includes the little makeup sponge, and covers very well. It's also not that heavy
My favorite concealer is Origins Quick, Hide! I am so suprised that I never read about it winning awards in magazines because this stuff is fab. It's super pigmented and covers EVERYTHING. I never worry about pimples anymore because it will cover them up 100%.
I just cant use it under my eyes because it's not creamy enough.
I use Mary Kay Mineral Powder Foundation. I don't like putting a heavy liquid foundation on my super sensitive skin, so I found this! It covers well, and it's not super heavy!
I use an oil-free Lancome liquid foundation, love it so far. I also use the Benefit "Boing" concealer, it's the best for my dark under eye circles.
I use Bare Escentuals also...and for the most part I love it. Just make sure you moisturize before you wear it because it tends to show fine lines and wrinkles when your skin is dry...it looks great when your skin is moisturized though.
I used to use MAC Studio Fix all the time, but have since switched to Smashbox High Definition Healthy FX. I love Smashbox so much better! The foundation is much lighter, and does not clog my pours the way MAC did. Be careful with Smashbox Photo Finish primer though...it is silicone based. I use Benefit "That Gal" instead (water based).
I have severe under eye circles and the only thing that's ever made them disappear is Lorac's Double Feature Concealer and Highlighter stick. I used Benefit but found it too light for my skin (I'm really fair skin but have yellow undertones) and also settling in the creases. As a bonus, I use the highlighter on my inner eye and my cheekbones. For foundation, I also agree with the smashbox ladies. In the summer, I use Tarte's Smooth Operator, it's slightly heavier than tinted moisturizing with amazing coverage and a dewy finish.

Goodmorning Ladies! It's HuMp day! & the 3rd! Gosh, this year seems like it's flying by so far!
I use MAC right now but I've heard that it's really bad for your skin, & plus I've been wanting to try something different. Clinque, maybe? I use the MAC creamy foundation & then a powder on top of that. I'm looking for something that's healthy for your skin & looks great on.
What type do you use? I'm guessing the one with the most answers is the one I'll trust most! :)
