kimmo416:  I mean, it isn’t in great taste to invite yourself but she did ask. Just reply “no” and move on with your day! Better than her just showing up….

Wow, just wow! Agree with PP, kindly decline stating venue size and move on. If you haven’t spoken in a couple years then it’s not like you are losing a friendship over it.

kimmo416:  LOL so innappropriate! Ive had coworkers say, “You better invite me to your wedding!” — coworkers that Ive NEVER seen outside of work & dont even have their cell phone numbers… We are “coworkers” LOL, not friends! People are just nuts.

kimmo416:  either don’t respond or simply say “sorry we already have a really tight guest list 🙁 “. I would be flattered she wanted to come considering she would be coming from out of town.

kimmo416:  Weird. Really weird. Kind of pathetic too but maybe she thinks more of your relationship than you do. Hm…

I’d just ignore it and pretend you never saw the text. How rude.

Wow…no way! That’s so uncool. I’d ignore the text. If she never made your guest list to begin with, there’s really no reason to assume the friendship would be stronger than ever after you extend the invite to her. Sheesh, some people have some nerve!

kimmo416:  SO awkward. I think that people who haven’t been there (planned a wedding) sometimes just have no idea how much thought/effort/planning goes into it.

kimmo416:  I’d be tempted to make a “Don’t Save the Date- you didn’t make the cut” , take a pic of it on your fridge and send it to her.

I wouldn’t even bother to respond, that’s so rude!

kimmo416:  Neither could I, but sometimes we all have these crazy thoughts.
