Owner Charlie Boghosian of Chicken Charlie's has invented more than 100 original deep-fried items.

Would you eat any of his creations?

Lol I added a poll so you can pick which heart attack inducing food you would try Smile (you can pick multiples)

Bahahha I'm so fat. I was the first person to vote!

I said oreos, mars bars, twinkies, pizza, ice cream and cheesecake.

I saw this the other day, and I honestly can't figure out how they "fry" liquids.  Is it really a friend dough packet with the liquid inside?

Oreos, cheesecake, pizza, ice cream, mars bars, twinkies.

The liquidy deep fried things are nasty.

Yeah I'm a fat kid,  I would try a lot of those.... but butter and some of the fried "liquids" seem unappealing.

I have tried a lot of these at local fairs and they always serve fried ice cream at hibachi places. I love fried cheesecake more than what is normal.

I've had fried oreos, cheesecake, ice cream and twinkies, and they were delicious. But they were a "try it once in my life way". What I really love is fried pickles. Yum.

    @Mrs. Spring:

No, it's just the batter uses the liquid it is frying as the liquid to make the batter, if that makes sense. So instead of adding water or milk to dry ingredients to make the batter, they would add Koolaid or Coke (actually, it's Coke syrup without the carbonation which makes it thicker and more Coke-y).

In college I worked at Chickfila and we once made Fried Coke using biscuit mix with Coke syrup to make a batter and frying it. It was vile. But fried oreos are actually good!

I've tried deep-fried oreos, twinkies, ice cream, cheesecake, corn on the cob, hotdogs, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, green beans, macaroni and cheese, and pizza.  Some, like corn on the cob and hotdogs, neither of which are battered, are suprisingly good.  But I can only take so much of the deep-fried sweet stuff.

I've not tried deep-fried butter.  It sounds nasty, but my understanding it is really deep-fried bread with a pat of butter in the middle which melts in the fryer.  So you end up with a hot piece of bread with melted butter.  I'll try it if I ever see it.

I think I am the only one who does not care much about fried foods.  Do not get me wrong though.  I do eat fried foods, but I do not think I would go out of my way to try certain things.  Hmm.

I've had the fried ice cream at the Texas state fair which is really good. It was really rolled and fried in like a graham cracker crust with a sort of fried puff pastry guitar garnish.

Mmm...isn't everything better when it's fried? Haha...

This definitely reminds me of my day at the state fair this year; my hubby, mom, and I all split a sampler platter with fried Oreos, Reeses, chocolate chip cookie dough, and Snickers. I have to say: the cookie dough and Reeses were my favorites...

    http://rufflesandtruffles.com/2011/03/florida-state-fair-the-gluttony/

We also witnessed/sampled the Krispy Kreme burger and fried chicken Eggo sandwich. I think we had our full fried food intake for the year all in one day!

These things aren't very original.  You can find all of those and more at the Texas State Fair every year!

I've personally had fried Oreos, twinkies, butter, coke, beer, Snickers, cookie dough and cheesecake.

@Neva: The fried butter basically tastes like buttery bread.  We got it with a garlic sause poured over it and it tasted a heck of a lot like buttered garlic bread.

On our first date (at a big county fair) I made FI eat Fried Oreos with me...  later he admitted being mortified because of all the powdered sugar on them, he thought he was going to get all messy and not look good to me.  haha.

Mmmm  some of these are so good, and some totally gross me out!

A festival where I used to live had fried butter. I didn't eat it because, well, ewwwww! But the people who did all said it tasted like buttercream frosting. It had powdered sugar on top, which probably helped.

I had a fried Snickers bar once, and even though it was really good, I was totally done after one bite. Like..done for life. I feel like exactly one bite is enough to last me forever.

Even though I'm on Weight Watchers now, I'm a "fat kid" at heart.  LOL!  I HAVE tried fried oreos and friend Snickers (YUM!!!).  Not sure how, or WHY, you would fry Coke and Kool-Aid, but I'll bet their good too!

Yeah, fried pickles needs to be added to the poll.  One of my favorite foods ever.

Based on how well the saltiness works with fried pickles, I would give fried pizza a go.  I also voted for fried Oreos, mainly because I've heard so many stories about them and have yet to experience it.

@DesireeAnne: No, you're definitely not the only one!  I'm not a big fan of fried foods, either.  I'll eat french fries or something every once in a while, but I wouldn't want to eat anything on that list.
