I'm heading to Seattle next week for a super awesome materials conference. I get to do things like listen to speeches on titanium and corrosion. Hot.

But i'm also FREE by 5pm. There's a Nordstrom Rack I'll be hitting up FOR SURE.

I'll be in downtown Bellevue....and it's been a few years since I lived in Seattle and even then, I lived in a fugly part of Renton.

I have a liberal meal per diem so I'd appreciate any and all places to visit from casual (but delish) to fancy fancy. Healthy's a bonus if you know of a place, though =].

Also if you know of a nifty eclectic little boutique or two i should hit up (that won't hurt the wallet too bad) let me know!

Jackie - maybe you can help me?  I am headed to downtown Seattle next month for work and am going to try to head out there a few days early with my mom.  We would fly out on Saturday, and have Sunday - Tuesday to sightsee.  Any suggestions?

If you can get to the University District in Seattle, there is a little store called Pitaya on the Ave that has super cute clothes for cheap.

I like Joey's in Bellevue for cocktails/happy hour- they have these Super Sonic Gin & Tonics there that are delicious and come with this little snowball of yumminess in them.  I also like Earls and Palomino.

In Bellevue Square there is a store that I love called Aritzia.  Not the cheapest of cheap but they have really cute clothes (Jillian from the Bachelorette got a lot of her clothes there).  I have a hoodie from there that I just love.

In Queen Anne in Seattle there is a little boutique called Peridot that is ADORABLE and has cute clothes and accessories.
