I’ve already bought my wedding dress….well actually I went out and got it two months after the proposal. And though the wedding isn’t until next Spring, it was a great idea because it was bought from a very calm designer sample sale which allowed me to actually meet and talk with the designer, enjoy free bubbly and chocolates and get my own two dressing attendants. And the markdown price was amazing! I do love my dress however I’ve since lost weight which wasn’t planned because the dress I bought fit me almost perfectly at the time. I’m now wondering how much alterations would cost me. Since the dress is detailed, it might cost as much as getting a differnent sample dress or having one made from one of those foreign vendors. Long story short I came across the Megan dress by Zahavit Tshuba and it’s stuck on my mind. I just wonder how it would look on a curvy girl. Here it is below (I roughly modified the pic a bit to make the model more of a real size, that’s why one side is a dark gray):
I also played around with it and extended the lace downward.
I was even thinking of having the bottom part be removable so that I could actually dance and move around comfortably during the reception. If I can have it made then I might just take the plunge. What do you guys think?
