Stunning!!! Beautiful pictures :] Congratulations!!!!
What a fun wedding! Everything looks like it was fabulous! And what an awesome venue!
That is a really great wedding! You look gorgeous! Congrats!
I missed your just married post, so I am glad you did another one! Everything looks great! Congratulations!
Thanks! We got the rest of our pictures (mostly portraits) but I am sad that we are missing a lot of detail shots. We don't have a good picture of the reception table centerpieces, the escort card table, the buffet table, etc etc. I guess its an oh well at this point.
Awesome! I love all the photos! The gift your husband gave you is so sweet!!! :)
good to know about the detail shots! I will remember to ask her to do them
You looked amazing, and how fun to be a zoo! The pictures are beautiful and congrats on your new marriage!
Here are some of my favorite "poses"

After we took those bridal party pictures, they all went inside and we kept taking pictures. It was hot but lots of fun.

I know this is a few weeks later but congrats! you had a beautiful wedding... my BF wants to get married at the zoo next to the tigers... I also love that Perry Ellis perfume was your wedding scent! I work for them and it was exciting to see that!!
Not sure how I missed this post! But I just love the pics! Beautiful!

I am so excited to recap my wedding on this new board. I had a "just married" post, but want to give everyone a full recap.
Event Date: June 5, 2010 Melbourne Florida
Ceremony Location: Our local church
Reception Location: Brevard Zoo
Rehearsal Dinner: Our local neighborhood clubhouse food catered by Sonny's BBQ.
Bridal Party: 6 BMs, 6 GMs, 2 Flower Girls, 1 RB.
Vendors:
Food: Creative Catering by the Farinas
Photography: Cathy Heinz
DJ: DJ Master Key
Limo: JJ's Hot Rayz
Salon: Bangz Salon
Guest list:
When we first booked out venue, we were very nervous because the guest list was around 230 and the max the place could hold was 176. We cut the list back to 200. Our final count at the wedding was 150. A lot of our immediate families were from out of state or a long drive away. Everybody local attended.
I would really recommend that everyone get a good timeline and/or a DOC. It really helped us keep track of where we were all day. I made sure all family members had copies as well as the wedding party and vendors. I posted a copy of mine on this thead.
I had my hair done with Sherry at Bangz salon. I loved it. The salon is great. For the 6 BM's we had two other stylists doing their hair. My mom had a fourth stylist. We started at 9 am and were done around 11:30.
I loved my airbrush make up and fake eyelashes. I had both done with a trial and day of for $150. It was REALLY worth it. I actually didn't get a manicure but did a french pedicure.
These are actually the little bottles of foundation and blush that you put in the airbrush machine. The hot pink turns out GREAT! She seriously used like 1-2 drops! There is also a "glow/shimmer" that she put all over my face and chest.
After the salon we went back to my parents house to get ready.
The photographer left the salon early to go to the house and start taking some of the "detail" shots.
Our rings:
My Dress:
The hairpiece I wore for the reception (with one of our engagement pictures framed):
PerryEllis Perfume (my wedding day scent):
My moms pearl necklace that I wore:
I opened my gift from my husband (which totally made me cry). There were a set of 10 metal rocks. The front said "I love you..." and the back each had a reason why he loved me. This was my favorite! I got him a nice pocketknife that he can add to his dad's collection when he inherits it. It was a nice mother of pearl Boker knife.
Then the limo arrived and we loaded up to go to the church:
Flowers:
I had a great florist who I gave full control to (Eau Gallie Florist). I told him our colors, some flowers I liked, and he ran with it. It all turned out great. It was well worth the money to not have to worry about this.
We had two alter pieces at the church (nothing on the pews).
My bouquet had white hydrangea, white roses, green mums and green hypericum berries. The 6 BM's bouquets were green hydrangea:
Here is a better picture of my bouquet with our rings:
The flower girls had two small bouquets since they were not allowed to throw petals:
The guys wore green hypericum berries. The fathers had traditional white roses:
We did a long head table. To fit all 14 of us we needed 4 Eight Foot tables. It was a lot of fun though! The BM's put their bouquets on the table in empty vases. The florist did this arrangement. I wish there weren't those pieces sticking up because they ruined a lot of good pictures:
The caterer also provided a large arrangement for his table.
We had great food from the caterer. We got lots of good comments on it. One of the nicest things they did was several of the servers came over to my husband and I while we were eating to see if we needed anything else. It was nice because we were busy talking to people and couldn't really get up.
Here was our full dinner menu:
TOSSED ROMAINE LETTUCE GARDEN SALAD
with Ranch,
Italian vinaigrette
and spring onion dressings aside
TERIYAKI GRILLED FLANK STEAK SLICES
GRILLED CHICKEN MARSALA MEDALLIONS
BLACKENED MAHI MAHI MEDALLIONS
WILD RICE PILAF
POLISH SAUSAGE CUTS
ROASTED GARLIC SMASHED POTATOES
BROCCOLI, CAULIFLOWER & BABY CARROT STEAMED MEDLEY
CHICKEN TENDERS
BREAD BASKET DINNER ROLL ASSORTMENT
The only glitch that really happened for our wedding was that the grooms cake was never delivered. I guess our coordinator forgot to ask about it since the wedding cake was delivered late. We got a refund but it still stinks. Luckily we had enough wedding cake! Also, be aware of things around your cake that will show up in pictures! Our DJ had a speaker right behind the cake which is in the background of all our pictures! We also didn't have a plate on the table right away when we went to cut the cake. We had to wait a bit until they brought one.
We had a really small cake topper, just something that I picked up at Michaels. He has blonde hair and I have brown and its really hard to find a topper that reflects that. This was a bit modern for us, but it worked.
The caterers did a great job serving it. They used all disposable stuff (clear plates and silver plastic forks).
We are still waiting on the rest of our photos but I will add to this post as I get more!! I am hoping to get more "detail" shots which would include the guest centerpieces, etc.
