Mine’s a .71 centre (total 1ct) on an S1/2 finger (apparently a 9.5 :))

@spence1022:  Though for me a .5 ct. solitaire would be too small (size 9.5) for my finger the ring you pictured has lots more coverage than just a solitaire. So I think that ring, even with a .5 ct center, would be fine for a size 10. Beautiful ring too. 🙂

ETA: I see you corrected that it’s a .25 ct. center. Anyway, still will be plenty of coverage in a size 10!

This is an old thread, but I thought since my engagement ring is 0.55 carat solitaire and my ring size is 9.5-10, it would be relevant in case anyone else wanted to see.  Some might think it looks a little small on my larger finger, but with my wedding band, which is about 0.5 tcw, it looks lovely without being overwhelming.  I’m not a big jewelry person in the first place and have a pretty simple and elegant style.  I’m not too flashy, so this is perfect for me.
