Well, we made it through…sorry for the delay, but we needed a couple of weeks to recover. For those who don’t know, we had to move our date way up because of health problems so we ended up planning for our entire wedding in under 1 month. It was on a very tight budget (especially for NYC), but given our time and financial restraints, I think things turned out beautiful. Our wedding was definitely not the norm and strayed from tradition a bit. We had our ceremony in the driveway at his parents’ home in the Bronx followed by a reception in the backyard by the pool. Here’s the non-pro pics we have now from friends and family (as well as a couple from my maid of honor beforehand)…

@Pearberry: The lantern idea I got from the movie Tangled. But I was worried about the environmental effects of lighting them all off so Darling Husband surprised me the day of with 2 biodegradable lanterns–1 for each of us and it was perfect.
@s.renea9: Thanks. I was so nervous about my dress. I didn’t find a place for alterations until a week before the wedding so we were cutting the time close and my wonderful Maid/Matron of Honor was literally sewing on my sleeves as I got dressed.
