I’m sure some of you have encountered this problem if you have tried shopping around the prowned market. A lot of listings aren’t taken down after they have been sold and the seller either doesn’t get back to you to let you know (I’ve emailed about 10 women about a style of dress and heard back from 1) or does get back to you but doesn’t take the listing down and you end up revisiting it multiple times thinking it’s still for sale.
Sigh. Just a little vent.

Yikes. Yes, you need a lot of patience for that kind of thing. I am sure you’ll eventually manage to find the perfect dress though and it will all be worth it!

My vent as someone selling a dress is that I’ve only gotten a handful of legitimate inquiries = (

My vent: Alterations that had made but not listed. So if the seller DID get back to me it would turn out that the dress she’d listed in my size would no longer fit because she’d had the bust taken in 4 inches!
But I did also encounter numerous “orphaned” listings.

@MissDragonfly84: Yea that’s irritating…oh and when they don’t post pictures on the ad! WTF?!?!!?

@ddavila2001: That would be very frustrating as well! It is a tough thing to do from both ends of the sale. If you are still trying to sell, good luck! Hopefully things will work out:)

I got lucky and got a preowned dress that was not used for the ceremony, no alterations, and the lady paid for the shipping. I did not ask, but I think that the wedding was cancelled and she just wanted to get rid of it.

That would be quite frustrating.
What size are you & what kind of style are you looking for? I’m thinking I might want to sell my dress (pics are in my “WE’RE MARRIED!” post) – let me know in a PM if you’re interested 🙂
