Roll call while I’m in Vienna waiting for my sister to get ready to hop on a train to Budapest!

Age/Partner’s Age: 30/40

How long have you been together: Together 7 years, married 2.

How long have you been TTC: Trying to get AF back for 2 years, officially TTC for a little over 1 year.

Issues: Hypothalamic amenorrhea and MFI (low everything).

What are your TTC plans for 2015: (fertility meds, supplements, OPKs, BBT charting, NTNP, etc,) We figured out how to get me to ovulate (Menopur and Ovidrel injections), are we are currently in the TWW from our first IUI. Since IUI and the meds are covered by insurance, and IVF is not, our plan is 3 back-to-back IUIs and then moving on to IVF with ICSI.

For fun–The holidays are coming up soon! Which is your favorite? Halloween! Trying to think of a good couples costume for a friends party (there’s a contest).

good luck everyone!

ROLL CALL Age/Partner’s Age: Late 20’s

How long have you been together: Over 3 and half years; known for over 10 years though.

How long have you been TTC: 14 months with specialists without any progress so I guess almost 2 years.

Issues: Skinny PCOS for me and none for Darling Husband.

What are your TTC plans for 2015: (fertility meds, supplements, OPKs, BBT charting, NTNP, etc,) We just had 1 failed IUI. We’ll do a couple more IUIs with injectibles (since Clomid and I don’t mix) and then IVF.

For fun–The holidays are coming up soon! Which is your favorite? Thanksgiving has always been my fav because that is when we get to see family members we don’t get to see all year.

ROLL CALL

Age/Partner’s Age: Both 31

How long have you been together: Together 6.5 years.  Married for 3.

How long have you been TTC: Since July 2014.  Just finishing up our 14th cycle.

Issues: No obvious issues.  I was just diagnosed with a dermoid cyst on my left ovary but it’s not clear if that is causing any fertility related problems.  Every other test was normal.

What are your TTC plans for 2015: (fertility meds, supplements, OPKs, BBT charting, NTNP, etc,)  I need an MRI for my cyst and then possibly surgery to remove it.  Until then, continuing on normally until we get an appointment with the RE.  I take prenatals, DHA, Coenzyme Q10, and Vitamin D and we use PreSeed.  I’ve also been going to acupuncture since June.  I don’t know if it’s helping but it has cut my PMS symptoms WAY down so I’ll continue going if only for that reason.

For fun–The holidays are coming up soon! Which is your favorite?  Christmas!  I love decorating and all our family traditions.  Can’t wait!

Ok, I need to rant a bit about doctors for a minute.  I went and saw my GP back in June to get the ball rolling on testing.  He sent me for a bunch of bloodwork, ordered a pelvic ultrasound and sent in a referral to the RE clinic.  DH went to drop off his results to the clinic today and asked when we could expect our first consultation appointment to be, mentioning that it had been a while since we had sent over the first referral.  The receptionist at the clinic tells him that they received all my test results but they can’t book a consultation until they get a referral form….which they haven’t received, even though I physically saw the fax receipt at my doctor’s office.  Did it not occur to them to contact my doctor and ASK for the form to be resent considering he was sending all these random results to them??!!  Ugh….I’m so frustrated.  She said they are already booking appointments into the new year so we shouldn’t expect anything until 2016.  You can bet I’m going to be calling them regularly to try and get a cancellation appointment.

ROLL CALL

Age/Partner’s Age: 26/30

How long have you been together:  We’ve known of each other for 5 years this fall and we’ve been married for 3 years.

How long have you been TTC: Since August 2014 – so 13 months.

Issues: PCOS, endometriosis, long and irregular natural cycles and missing an ovary/tube from endo complications.

What are your TTC plans for 2015: (fertility meds, supplements, OPKs, BBT charting, NTNP, etc,)

Waiting on SA results for Darling Husband and we see an RE on Oct. 12 for a consultation.  Other than that, Femara CD3-7, prenatals, charting, metformin, starting preseed, lots of prayer and trying to distract myself from TTC on home reno projects.

For fun–The holidays are coming up soon! Which is your favorite?  I’m a sucker for Christmas.  I love decorating, hosting Christmas parties, journaling by the Christmas tree, Christmas music, cheesy Christmas movies, picking gifts, etc.  I love it all.

 ROLL CALL

Age/Partner’s Age: 34/38

How long have you been together: 5 years – married 4 years

How long have you been TTC: Since July 2011. This is cycle 54

A psychic (just for fun, I’m not living life by her) told me last week I’d have a child by 36 and 2 by 38! That’s a long time from our starting line!

Issues: Initially unexplained, now DOR

What are your TTC plans for 2015: (fertility meds, supplements, OPKs, BBT charting, NTNP, etc,) I’m currently 7dp5dt and not feeling very hopeful. We have no frosties left so will somehow figure out a way to do IVF #4 We travel for treatment which makes it logistically and financially more difficult as new doctor insists I be in his city for minimum of 10 days while cycling.

For fun–The holidays are coming up soon! Which is your favorite? Oh my gosh I adore Christmas. I’m like a child I absolutely love everything about it although not having children of our own has taken some of the magic out of the holidays for me and it’s been tough

ROLL CALL

Age/Partner’s Age: 28/32

How long have you been together: 5 years, married over 2

How long have you been TTC: 13 months

Issues: None that are obvious. While doing testing/IUI DH’s sample was not so great, and varied a lot from :”low normal”to “super low everything.”So probably moderate/mild male factor. No idea if I have endo or not, but other than that, tests came back fine.

What are your TTC plans for 2015: (fertility meds, supplements, OPKs, BBT charting, NTNP, etc,). Currently in the TWW after 1st femara/trigger IUI. RE’s plan is 3 oral meds/monitored IUIs, than IVF (he does not believe in taking oral meds without IUIs and does not do IUIs with injectibles as costs are high and sucess rates are low, so after 3 oral meds IUIs suggests IVF right away)

For fun–The holidays are coming up soon! Which is your favorite?

Holiday season is awesome, I love them all. However, this year will be hard as I was picturing myself with a baby/pregnant this holiday season.

MissCountryGirl727:  Apparently my cyst is different from a typical ovarian cyst. It’s actually solid instead of fluid filled….so more like a slow growing benign tumor. They are often present since birth and only discovered during reproductive years.
