soontobemrs1011:  welcome and fingers crossed that this is your one and only IUI. 🙂 I’m also unexplained and waiting for insurance approval to start my first IUI cycle.

nightborn:  Same thing happened to me.  I was supposed to start the cycle before, and insurance hadn’t approved it, so I had to wait.  I know what you’re going through, it sucks!  Unexplained also sucks!  Hopefully your insurance will approve soon, and FX we both have beginners luck

Petite_Fraise:  Welcome to the thread! There’s no such thing as late.

vanike:  Mrs.LaFountain:  lizziebeth1:  Sorry about your BFNs!

AFM, back from a long trip out east for my husband’s grandfather’s funeral. Despite being around extended family for days on end, we thankfully didn’t get any pregnancy questions.

My Mother-In-Law, who is a Christian, but sort of believes in reincarnation, told my husband “now that your grandpa has died, Jammer62 is going to get pregnant this next month.” I laughed when he told me, and said I’d be thrilled if that was the case… but it doesn’t mean I’m naming the kid after his grandpa!

AF started last week and ended a couple days ago. Let the fun roller coaster begin for the 18th cycle!

On a side note, has anyone been to a chiropracter for their infertility? I was doing some advertising work for a local chiropracter, and noticed they have this chart that shows the L3 vertibrae supplies blood to your sex organs and uterus.

Hey ladies. I’m still emotionally down from our 3rd fail, and Darling Husband and I spent the whole day arguing yesterday about his sister. Literally, the whole day. I’m just so emotionally exhausted. And I woke up angry (about the argument), and I’m angry because I’m trying to start this cycle off new.

Anyway, I looked up positive affirmations related to pregnancy/fertility (figured it could help change my thoughts which could help guide my body). And I found this: http://naturaltransition.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/50FertilityAffirmations.pdf

Just dropping this here because I figured it might be helpful for some of you ladies out there. I just finished printing it off and am putting it in a binder to read and repeat daily.

Ridiculously far behind (work has been crazy lately) and I’m far behind.  Sorry in advance if this turns into a wall of text.

EL2101:  did you test today?

RunnerBride13:  yay for transfer!!!  I hope it all goes really, really well and this will be your BFP transfer! And that you can find a car that you like!  I have a sedan but I do like driving my DH’s SUV a lot!

Aqualov:   I meant to come on here on Thursday and cheer that it was your first day of stims, but that didn’t happen.  I’m so stinkin’ excited for you though!  Glad to hear that the injections aren’t too bad so far. And the overfill is awesome!  yay!!

Petite_Fraise:  welcome!  I’m sorry you find yourself here, but this is a super supportive thread and we’re all here to cheer you on!

vanike:  🙁 I am so, so sorry for the BFN 🙁 I was so hopeful for you.

MattieK:  I love your attitude about your friend’s baby!  And yes, baby smells are the best!

Mrs.LaFountain:  I’m so sorry for the BFN and everything you went through this month.  That’s so frustrating.

mkat37:  yay!  I’m glad the MRI went well!  I forgot, was it for something related to TTC or something different entirely?

Dreaming13:  yay for no cyst!  That’s awesome!!  I hope the IUI goes really well for you!

accorn:  I would love to get to sleep through the TWW!  FX the bloating is a really early pregnancy sign for you!  When are you going to POAS?

soontobemrs1011:  welcome!

Novella:  yay!  I hope the transfer goes really well for you!

future_mrs_m:  yay for a normal SA!!  That’s awesome!

vanike:  I have not seen a nutritionist/specialist for fertility diets but I know the struggle in wanting junk food over healthy options.  What kinds of foods do you like and what don’t you like?  We might be able to suggest some changes you can make that you’d actually like the taste of!

jammer62:  I’ve seen a chiropractor before and they’ve told me it can make a difference.  All of my problem areas are in my hips/pelvis though, everything else is fine and in line. I do know some other women who said it was really helpful for them and cheaper than RE treatments! I figure it can’t hurt anything, so we might look into it for the next cycles.

OK, so has anyone else had Femara change their cycle, a month after the last time you took it?  I’m CD19 now, so if this was normal, O should be within the next 5-10 days. Based just on my temps, I think it might have been CD17?   OPK’s have been very negative since Friday (when I started them), but I had a temp dip Saturday and the last two days, my temp has been post-O.  It’s entirely possible that it’s complete exhaustion at night from 12+ hour workdays making my temps higher if I’m sleeping harder, but my chart doesn’t look like any of the last 18months worth. Any insight from anyone?

Hi all,

Just wanted to pop in and say hi.  I am going to try and become more active here again.  I was on the 1+ thread as it took us 2.5 years to conceive our first.  We have now been trying for our second since August, so not at a year yet, but I feel like you guys just get it!  Anyway, hoping to get to know you (but also hoping that your stay on this thread is short and sweet!).

Ok, so I called the nurse this morning as I started full flow around 9pm last night (only spotting prior). Nurse says anything prior to midnight is considered CD1. Nurse thought I was just doing TI this cycle, no meds and says she needs to speak with the Dr since I thought I was starting Clomid this cycle. Dr. calls me back and says the same thing as the Nurse. I told the Dr that she said I should be on Clomid once I revealed my LP is only 9 days long. The Dr also told me the trigger shot will help with my LP. I said ok, then the dr tells me to come in on CD12 for monitoring. I reminded her I don’t ovulate until CD18 or 19. Then she says, oh well if thats the case we should put you on Clomid as otherwise we will be waiting forever for you to ovulate. Sheesh! We decided all this at my appointment last week (or so I thought).

I start Clomid 50mg tomorrow (CD3) for 5 days I think. I’m supposed to take it after dinner. She wants me to come in for monitoring on CD9. I’m excited to start a cycle actually doing something!

Just got home from my GP. Finally went in to see her about my painful periods and whatnot. Got a pelvic exam and she’s putting in a request for an ultrasound. Discovered I have a tilted uterus (like my mom) and that explains a lot of the pain I get. She was surprised that the fertility clinic hadn’t done any scans on me yet, so at least we’re getting that done (if the board approves it…she has to put in a referral to the hospital for it and they decide if I get it or if I have to go private and pay $200). FX for a free ultrasound! I also got a prescription for painkillers for my next cycle, which is set to hit on Valentines Day. Freaking ridiculous. That’s about it really. Really rooting for you all and like others, I do follow the board and cheer everyone on, I just don’t usually post that much.

Oh, and we decided not to stress about hitting O-day so much from now on. It’s too stressful and with our weird work schedules, it keeps being a chore and super-frustrating. So for now, just doing it when we want to. Less stress=happy wife.

JLBB-brooklyn:  Boo for doctors who don’t document but Yay for starting Clomid! I started Clomid on Saturday so we are a few days apart. We are going to skip TI and go with IUI due to some less then stellar SA numbers. Good luck!

hogoboom2012:  I didn’t! My wife and I discussed it and she really wants me to wait for the beta. I figured I can compromise in that way, since a beta is covered by insurance and it’s either positive or on to the next cycle. So now 2/4! Which is my dogs birthday so hopefully a good sign ☺️

hogoboom2012:

hilarious update cross posted from the February POAS board:

while changing after work, my wife mentioned that my chest looked unbelievably large, (uhh yeah, I’ve only been complaining about them all week!) and I said “yeah babe, that’s pregnancy. it’s a huge sign, especially because mine never hurt until the day before I start and they’ve been like this all week.”

So now she wants me to test in the morning, haha. I think she was feeling the anxiety of potential negative news and wanted to erase any gray areas.. But my boobs are apparently startlingly large enough to shock her out of any anxiety. So I’m going to test with FMU tomorrow!

EL2101:  Good luck!! Hubby wants me to test too because my boobs are actually too big for my bra! I actually had to put an extention to be able to have some support. However, that did not help! lol
