CD1 over here.  Another one bites the dust and we’re onto cycle #12.

If there is ever a silver lining to AF it would be that I was finally able to get an HSG appointment, so that will be late next week.  Hopefully we will be able to get into our RE soon after that.

Yellow.Clover:  Sorry I have only just seen your message now. Thank you for your kind words it really makes things easier to know there are people you can ‘talk’ to who are going through similar things and can give advice.

minniemluv: Gosh, that’s hard. I don’t think I really approached him other than taking him to the doctors with me and she gave him a prescription to get the SA done. An SA is usually the first thing a doctor will suggest for infertility testing. Maybe make an appointment with your doctor and bring him along. Sorry, I don’t have any other advice. And as the others have said, it really is the easiest step throughout this entire process. It is the least he can do. Good luck, hun.

pinkshoes: Good luck! FX your beta comes back with better news than those wondfo’s did!

Turtle83: That’s wonderful news! I hope you come out of the appointments feeling a wonderful sense of hope; I know I did! FX you are able to make an easy decision as to which RE is best for you and they get you KU in no time! : )

And thank you so much for you kind words; they mean a lot to me : ) *hugs*

Ms.Bookworm: So sorry about CD2, : (   FX things with the creepy sperm closet go well! ; )

MrsBananas: Sorry about CD1 : (  FX for your HSG!

MrsBadger33: Of course! Any time : )

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!! X

BalticBee:  I’m glad that your HSG went well and it dod not hurt as bad (mine hurt like hell lol). I’m very happy that your Darling Husband is being so proactive about surgery, May is around the corner! When does he need to repeat the SA? Good luck with the upcoming RE appointment.

lindsayandchris09:  Hi sweetie, how are you doing?  Hope things are going well.  You’ve been on my mind!

MrsMonty11:  Hi there!  I just wanted to say hi and that I’m thinking of you.  I hope you’re doing well.

picturemeurs:  I’m so, so sorry about the BFN.  Sending massive hugs and positive thoughts your way.

andielovesj:  Just thought this might make you feel better – I had an u/s at 5w2d and all that was there was an empty sac.  So, the fact that that’s all they’re seeing at 4w1d is 100% normal and expected.  Major FX for you.

Yellow.Clover:  Hi love, I just wanted to let you know you’ve been on my mind and I’m hoping and praying for you to find some peace in navigating these decisions.  I know it’s such a hard process.  I’m going to PM you now. xoxox

I think about you ladies often and I miss you all.  If you do a private FB group, I’d love to be able to follow along there, if you don’t mind.  Always rooting for you guys and can’t wait to see more graduates in the near future.  XOXOX

MrsBananas:  Sorry for CD1. Hope the HSG goes well!

hardtoconcentrate:  Miss you too but so happy you were able to get the heck out of here!

Yellow.Clover:  Thinking of you.

AFM, I’m getting sooo many hot flashes from this long period of Lupron!  Like, several times an hour…sometimes even feels like every few minutes…including when I’m trying to sleep.  Not fun.

Turtle83:  It’s amazing to me how far Darling Husband has come with this whole TTC process compared to when we started.  It took convincing to even start TTC, but now he seems fully on board even with the surgery, IUI, and IVF if needed. He went in for his repeat SA last Friday. They also ordered blood work to confirm the antibody issue. My first RE appointment is tomorrow, Monday, so I am hoping to get at least his SA results. When is your appointment?

minniemluv:  At first my Darling Husband wanted to hear nothing about the SA. We both assumed there was nothing wrong with him, so he thought it was crazy that he needed to go. When I met with the obgyn and she ran preliminary blood work, which came out fine, she would not refer me for any further testing until we had the SA done. That was the push for Darling Husband to do it. Maybe you can talk to your Darling Husband and let him know that doing further testing on you may not be possible if they do not rule him out. I’m sure your doctor would agree. See if your obgyn can give you an SA referral.

hardtoconcentrate:  I’m so happy when I see your name appear on the pregnancy boards 🙂 (I’ve just started lurking on the nesting boards again rather than just going between here and the POAS thread :)) it really gives me hope that it can happen for us all. 🙂

BalticBee:  I agree that my Darling Husband has stepped up more as we’ve gone along from “it’ll happen when it happens” to “we’ll do whatever it takes”. Apart from a moment the other day when I told him AF was arriving and I got no response I haven’t wanted to grumble at  him over TTC related issues in a while haha.

Sorry I can’t reply to multiple people over different pages? I don’t know if I ever could or if I am just being a dumbass at the moment – anyway sorry ’bout the multiple replies haha…

minniemluv:  I was lucky in the fact that Darling Husband was the one that got the ball rolling when we hit 13 cycles of trying. I’d been saying to him “if we’re not successful by the time a year comes around I better start getting tested” then it hit 12 cycles and I chickened out. So when he went into the doctor (for a diabetes check up) he told the Dr he needed a SA, when we went back for the results – I then got the referrals for my tests. Granted I’ve had more tests and a LOT more invasive than what Darling Husband had to do in the 3 cycles since but I am grateful Darling Husband kicked my ass into gear. Anyway i guess what I’m saying is once he realises you are getting checked out maybe he’ll start thinking of doing it too. As for the approach discuss it as “you” going and getting tested first and see how he takes it. Yes I know in TTC/marriage/sex all should be open and discussed but guys are wayyyyyy too sensitive about their man juice haha

Oh and I am on CD1ish of cycle 16 boo! I say “ish” because I “spotted” enough this morning it seemed like AF but nothing all day since so I think official CD1 will be tomorrow (considering it’s after 6pm here already). Darling Husband goes for his repeat SA in less than 2 weeks. (Hopefully BEFORE the fertile window) And then I guess I’ll know more then about the specialist appt, the when/what/where… Still hoping I’ll be that “lucky one” that gets knocked up before she has time to make it to the specialist! Dreams can come true! Hehe

BalticBee:  I have an appointment with an RE in 2 days, and I also made an appointment with a different RE at the end of the month, I want to have a second opinion before we start any fertility treatments. When does your Darling Husband get his results back? Good luck on your RE appointment today! Keep us updated
