Turtle83:  I’m glad your hysteroscopy went well. Anything for progress, right?

PeachBee:  Good vibes headed your way for healthy embies. Grow, grow, grow!

Mrs. Jaguar:  Hoipefully you are well on your way to bouncing back after that tough ER.

saraja87:  FX that the results timing works out for you. Getting results on Thanksgiving would definitely be tough.

thesaurus_rex:  I’m sorry this is taking such an emotional toll on you. Hopefully DH can take on a more supportive role soon.

AFM, today was my HSG. The procedure was a breeze, but the post-procedure cramping is less than fun. Furtunately Mr. Lk is taking good care of me. Also on the good news front, the NP who did my HSG said everything looks really good. That felt really good to hear. 2 Fridays in a row of good news. A girl could get used to this. πŸ™‚

MrsBananas:  Wow, I am really impressed that you were able to hold your friend’s baby right after your MC.  You’re amazing!

Turtle83:  Sorry to have to wait out this cycle.  What a drag.  Good idea to wait for the biopsy result though.

PeachBee:  That’s a great egg haul!  I hope that you got good news yesterday!

Mrs. Jaguar:  Did I miss your retrieval report?  Hope it went well.

saraja87:  Really hoping for good news for you.  I would tend to think that the clinic would not be calling with results on Thanksgiving, even if they are open for certain procedures, but I guess you never know…

thesaurus_rex:  I’m sorry that your husband isn’t being very supportive.  I also would have broken down in the car if a nurse talked about how strong I was and meanwhile DH is sleeping at home…it’s all very frustrating…I’m sorry you’re going through this.  I do think that you would surprise yourself at how well you handle IVF.  My DH is supportive but doesn’t do my injections (I do my own) or go to most appointments with me (unless I ask), so it’s something you can physically do on your own, but having that emotional support would be really good.  Is DH anxious or ambivalent about having children?

Mrs. Jaguar:  How are you feeling? My cramps subsided about 24 hours after my HSG and the bleeding stopped after 36 hours. All in all, I feel like I got off fairly easy with it. Now I want to focus on enjoying our Thanksgiving and celebrating Mr. LK’s birthday this week. This infertility crap can wait. I have good stuff to enjoy.

Well my hystereoscopy went well this morning.  No fibroid growing out of my uterine wall so we won’t be worrying about that anymore.  I’ve got some mild cramping and spotting now but that was to be expected.  And as per Murphy’s Law I got a postitve OPK this morning too.  He said we can still try this cycle but I can’t imagine doing it today.  Maybe tomorrow morn if I’m up for it (I’m hoping maybe this procedure it will clear a good path, lol)

lovekiss:   I’m sorry about the post-procedure cramping. I’m really glad everything was normal, one step closer to start your IVF cycle.

Mrs. Jaguar:  8 fertilized embryos, nice! πŸ™‚

lonsk:  I’m glad you have a date for the hysteroscopy and you will have good timing!

MrsBananas:  yay for no fibroid! I hope you feel better tomorrow so that you can try this cycle and also hoping it helps with implantation, best of luck!

Turtle83:  Thanks. I talked with my nurse today, and she said my HSG was officially read and all is well. I’m feeling relieved. My vitamin D is a bit low, so I’m supposed to start taking a supplement for that. Otherwise we’re in waiting mode until our follow-up appointment with the RE in mid-December and follow-up appointment with the MFI specialist in early January. Waiting, waiting, waiting. It’s what we do best. Right? hahaha

Turtle83:  Well, day 1 embryos don’t mean much. We’ll lose a lot of them when we grow them out. But I’m crossing my fingers and toes that we get some decent ones for transfer eventually.

Why? WHY!? Figures. Have been anxiously waiting on CD 1 so I can get CD3 testing done. As Thanksgiving approached I was just like “please not Tuesday please not Tuesday any day but Tuesday.” If Tuesday is CD1, CD3 falls on Thanksgiving and no labs are open.

Today’s Tuesday. Guess what happened this morning? Muahahahahahahaha!

Oh well. Doc says to go in tomorrow and do them as cycle day 2.

Sheesh, body. What’s the deal? You have to be contrary on everything?

Frohike:  I’m so sorry your body is not cooperating. I was told that as long as the tests are done CD2-CD4, the results are accurate. Wishing you all the best tomorrow, let us know how it goes.

Frohike:  What a royal PITA AF has to be sometime. My clinic does “day 3” bloodwork and U/S on days 2-4, so day 2 sonds like a good alternative. Hopefully the revised timing will work out great for you. πŸ™‚

Frohike:  Always the way!!!! *head desk* I don’t think day 2 will make a huge shred of difference. x

Hi all I have been reading on/off and wanting to join but part 14 is so long I was hoping someone will start a new one, but F -it I will roll call. I hope that the support you give each other will help me as I have been having a reall hard time with this all.

ROLL CALL

Age (if you care to share):

 I’m 30 and Hubby is 33

TTC since:

Oct 2013

TTC Recap:

After 8 months and no luck. We had hubby tested and found MFI. I have yet to be tested as it is a 5 month wait to get into RE. I am super regular and have confirmed O with temps. \so we are hoping nothing will be wrong with me as well.

Issues (if any):

MFI for now

Chart?

Stopped charting for awhile now to take a break.

Currently:

First RE appt Feb 3. So waiting so very patiently…or not

Supplements/how are you going about your BFP:

So far hubby is trying to lose weight and doing amazing. He is taking Multi vit, Co enzyme Q10 and omegas. I am taking prenatals, Vit D, co enzyme q10 and omegas.

When I get my BFP, I’ll celebrate by:

Once the shock wears off we will quietly celebrate together. If this has taught me anything is that you never know. probably tell family when we feel safe.

If it’s not this cycle, we’ll:

I doubt it will happen without assistance from the RE. Christmas is going to be a nice distraction why I wait.

Since TTC after 12+ cycles (or with IF) issues, is a very different experience than a fertile couple trying in the first month, how do you stay positive and hopeful?

I struggle with staying positive. It is something I really have to work at. My hubby is so positive its amazing. He just keeps saying that we will have a baby. We just love each other more It is very bonding to go through this together.

And just for fun, what are your holiday plans this year? Are you crafting or making any awesome homemade gifts? Taking any trips?

I am working Christmas day which is a downer but worth the pay.Hopefully it will distract form my sister being away for christmas for the first time. I am a crochet and knitter and have so many projects on the go for gifts.
