@KoiKove:  My RE isn’t a big fan of egg freezing.  He indicated that would harm the quality of the egg.  If I had tons of eggs, there would still be some to work with post-thaw, but it’s not really an option we’re considering.  I remember when eggs couldn’t be frozen at all.  Hopefully the egg freezing technology will improve in the future.

@Yellow.Clover:  Good!  I did the same for all 3 of you– gave you my email address and let you find me.  I figured that would the easiest since some of us have the same names as many other FB users, and there should be only one result with that long, awkward, email.  πŸ™‚

We may be closer to finding our donor!  Darling Husband narrowed it down to 2, and while talking to one of the counselors at the bank, she said she’d look at photos of Darling Husband and tell me if one looked more like him.  Now I just hope she doesn’t say to start a new search!

My nurse was out today, but my RE indicated that they’d make sure that I’ll get my gonal-F and won’t have to use up another “round” with my insurance.  Have I mentioned lately how much I love my RE?  Perhaps its been a few days, so I’ll say it again πŸ™‚

Well hello ladies! 3am Friday morning here. Think nerves or last nights food are playing havoc with my stomach. Just thought I’d come and say a huge big Thanks and that I’ll show you some wedding photo’s once we’re back from honeymoon. Got my appointment letter for the HSG yesterday too, so looks like we won’t be making any honeymoon babies as we have to make sure there’s no chance we could be pregnant between now and then. Little bit disappointed, but just means we can enjoy the got tub without having to worry about what it’s doing to DH’S swimmers. Think I’ll be too busy on our last single day to do much WB lurking, so ladies I will see you all on the other side, next time i post I’ll be MRS Macmint πŸ™‚ huge big nervous, cake making, favour sticking, kilt wearing hugs to all! x

Cycle Day and TTC since/Cycles trying:  CD 9, 13th Cycle (thought it was #12 until I checked my charts again)

Age (if you care to share): 32, Darling Husband is 31

Issues if any: No EWCM

Charting? (share your chart if you like):
no link

Estimated next POAS date: June 22

How are you going after your BFP: Lots of supplements, grapefruit juice, guaifenesin, evening primrose oil.  We have been “mostly trying” for the 20 cycles I’ve charted, but hit the fertile window in 12 cycles.  (I’ve included O-5 and O as fertile days, though I don’t think they have a high success rate).  Going to make an appointment with my GP and see what she says if we’re not KU this cycle, then on to the RE.

What are you HAPPY about right now? 3 year anniversary coming up next month along with a trip to SC and trip to visit my family.

@macmint83:  YAAAAAY!  I hope your wedding and honeymoon are everything you’ve ever dreamed!  I’m sure they’d have you POAS before your HSG.  I had the ultrasound with saline to check for polyps (don’t remember the technical name) and they gave me a test before pumping saline into my uterus.  Could you imagine if you went in for your HSG but then couldn’t do it because your test indicated you had a BFP?  πŸ™‚  I asked DH’s MFI specialist urologist about hot tubs before our trip last weekend, and he wasn’t overly concerned (of course it might help that my Darling Husband doesn’t like actually hot water).

@poetryreader80:  Welcome!

@lonsk:  Me too!  It feels good to finally be proactive after all this waiting.  I sent the counselor at the bank a link that had 4 photos of Darling Husband, and her return email included this line:

“The far left picture of your husband resembles Donor ABC123, but your husband is better looking in all honesty.”

Darling Husband got a big kick out of that πŸ™‚

I will go to FedEx tomorrow to pick up the correct doseage of Gonal-F (and return the still-sealed doses I received), with no additional co-pay.  Woo hoo!!  πŸ™‚

@macmint83:  It’s 8:50pm your time, and I hope you’re having a lovely pre-wedding evening and will have a restful nights sleep.  Sounds like you’ll be having lots of good vibes sent your way all day tomorrow!

@HopefulForLittleOne:  So glad to hear that you don’t have to pay for the Gonal-F screw up. Awesome news that one of the donors resembles your Darling Husband and not the complete opposite!

Still no period here!  I’ve never wished for AF so much!  This is really throwing off our timing for our embryo transfer…we will now be able to do it on June 26th at the earliest, which isn’t ideal since we are traveling out of town for a wedding on June 28th.  And if AF doesn’t come this week I won’t be able to fit in the transfer at all before starting my new job in July (at which point it won’t be feasible for me to do it for a while after starting).  Argh!

Anyway, all this to say everyone please think AF thoughts for me.  You can send me all of your unwanted AF’s. (actually, that’s kinda gross!  πŸ™‚ ).

@HopefulForLittleOne:  Glad you were able to get the correct medicine with no cost. Glad that everything is moving forward! (It’s the waiting around that is such a pain!)

Sorry, so may separate posts, but my ipad has a bad habit of eating what I’ve written if I scroll up or down to much or try to imbed the name hyper links.

Today is CD7, d4 of stims. It has not been fun! I am one of the few, rare people that get dizzy/lightheaded from Bravelle. So rare my nurse has never heard of it. So my options were to keep taking it and hope the side effect went away OR take Gonal-F (which I’ve taken before for IUI). That would involve hoping tha Fertility Freedom Pharmacy would take back my 6 boxes of Bravelle. Also, Girlfriend is more expensive than Brav ANNNNND I cant use the multi-dose vial because it has a latex stopper. So I would have to buy the more expensive single dose. Ugh– so I decided to just suck it up and hope the dizziness would go away (I’m unemployed, so it’s not like I need to be anywhere)

Overall, just feeling depressed and icky. Like I’m coming down with the flu. Not achy or anything, just an overall feelif uneasy and ickiness. No other way to describe it.

Today’s US/BW showed some small unmeasurable follicles growing. A little worried that I dont have any worth measuring yet. But trying to be calm about it. Estrogen was low at 77.7, so they uped my dose for tonight and tomorrow to- AM Bravelle 225, PM Bravelle 150 Menopur 150. Slow and steady wins the race, right?
