@lonsk:  heehe he when I promised to stick around after my pregnancy I forgot to include that I am no where near pregnant so that could be months or years from now.

I was at an animal event the other afternoon. Just dog lovers and dogs.. and in comes a group of very pregnant ladies.  Not one or two but a group of them and their BIG bellies.  I was so confused and they looked so .. well pregnant.  For all I know they could have been a group of ladies who used to go through infertility treatments together.  ๐Ÿ™‚

I get so mad when people “try” for a month. that’s not trying. that’s just doing it !!

UGGH so yea I hear your pain.

@ihateweddings:  This same person, asked another friend if her 3 week old baby wanted a piece of cake!, the friend politely replied “Um, no she doesn’t eat cake yet” to which she replied “Oh, yeah she’s still on fruits and veggies” hahah! makes me laugh so hard how clueless she is but then again it scares me!!!!!

Just stopping in to say hello! Tomorrow marks CD123. But, I’m seeing a fertility specialist on Tuesday! So happy!

Does anyone know what I would need or what would be helpful to bring to a first appointment with a fertility dude?

I have a Pumpkin Cheesecake Swirl Bread just out of the oven for work tomorrow. Yum!

Love you all! Congrats to the new moms and preggers ladies!

Sticky thoughts going out to all. And magical baby dust to those of you with ovaries that hate you, like mine do.

@LEwife543:  Hi! Welcome! Congrats on seeing a specialist!

When we met with ours, we didnt bring anything but i brought a small notebook. However, our clinic did send us a large packet prior to my appointment and i also made sure they had all of my medical records from other doctors, surgery info for my laporoscopy, op notes for that procedure & etc. So right when we got in to our clinic and were able to meet the dr, he had already seen a lot of stuff and was ready to come up with a plan of attack! Good luck!

@wifegoodman:  Hey one follie is all it takes!  That’s awesome that you got the go ahead!!  November 13th is just a couple of weeks away!  How exciting!  ๐Ÿ™‚  I’m glad your toe isn’t broken and I hope it heals and stops hurting you very very soon.

@ihateweddings:

So glad your “not gonna fit into your stinkin’ jeans” session was able to be moved so that you could get in to see the miracle dr!! Can’t wait to hear how the appointment goes!

I love your promise to stick around! I know I plan to do the same thing. I enjoyed sticking around after my wedding just so that I could give input on the wedding side of things and encouragement to those still in the planning stages. Like you said, it’s the same thing here. Once we get our successes, it’ll be great support (and hope!) for those still struggling for theirs. Is your mom my grandma! I mean I know she isn’t, but she went through almost the same struggle as my grandma!! They had my dad and really wanted a big family, but my grandma (I only found this out after I had my 2nd miscarriage) struggled for 10-12 years and had a guestimated 5-6 miscarriages before she finally was able to conceive and carry my aunt to term. If they had IVF back then, I know they sure as heck couldn’t afford it. She was unexplained as well.

@lonsk:  Ugh.  Those kind of announcements just annoy the dickens out of me.  >.<  Why do people like us, who are doing everything right and trying so hard for so long, not have babies in our arms, and people like that do?!  OMG!  The cake and 3 week old part just reeeeeeally makes me want to smack her.  UGH!

@LEwife543:  My first specialist was a bit different then yours likely, but here’s a link to the questions that I had prepared for mine.  http://dodgercpkl.com/RE_Questions.html  Maybe they will help you think of things to ask at yours!  If you have charting or medical records that haven’t been sent (or even if they have just in case), I’d bring that with you.  Glad you are getting in to see a specialist!!!

So this is a little embarrassing but I got my peak today on the CBEFM and well, umm… DH couldnt perform if you know what I mean. This has never happened before.  I know he was embarrased (he told me so) and of course me being an over analyzing girl my mind is racing with crazy thoughts. I’m sure he’s just feeling pressure but…

I work tonight and won’t be home until midnight so we will try again – Eeek! FX things “work” this time. Really really worried about timing. I know that’s not a mood setter but hard not to be concerned with hitting the right time!

*hugs*  My husband had that when we first started.  It seemed to help when we just went to every other day and didn’t worry about when peak time was for me.  That and I just simply stopped mentioning anything to him until I knew we were past ovulation.  I hope he can perform tonight!!!

Some of us knocked up ladies are still in here, but I don’t want to stomp all over everyone’s party or get in the way is all. Just so you know, I’m still reading to keep up with all of you.

I had my first IUI this morning. It went pretty well, easier than I thought it would be. We’re doing back-to-back IUIs so I’ll be back there tomorrow morning. Everything is swollen from all the injections and I can’t wait for the nausea to be over.

@lonsk:  its hard to not be concerned about the timing! the timing is/can be SO important!

i just took my hcg shot tonight at 5pm, and since we have to BD 36-40 hours after taking the shot – i am thinking like ahh do we pick 36 hours? 40? maybe 38?! and its going to end up being tuesday AM around 5AM. i know i am going to totally rather be sleeping than BDing but blah! i hope the timing is on our side girlfriend!

@dodgercpkl:  We really tried the every other day routine this cycle, but its really hard we work/sleep complete opposite schedules (I had DH coming home at lunch all week Wink but with the drive that means no eating for him!) He always asks if it is peak time, I don’t want to say no incase he decides to take a night off…

@hamikay:  Nice to see you! hope you are doing well. Nope not last night but we did today so I’m hoping that day after peak BD still caught it…
