@redsmarties:  long time no “see”!  Great job on the weight loss. I know how much you earn every hard fought pound when it comes to pcos.  Awesome that you’re writing a novel as well!

Hey ladies!

So…we didn’t get the house. We offered $2000 ABOVE asking price, and there were still two offers that were higher than ours. So though it seemed like the perfect house, it obviously wasn’t supposed to be. We spent ages praying about it, so God’s timing must have something better.

Its frustrating though. I’m like, I can’t have a baby, I can’t have a house…what CAN I have? I can only imagine it will all be worth it when it comes though, right?

@MrsFarmer:  Snow….gross. We’ve had a few snowfalls, but nothing that has stuck around for very long. Hope that everything goes well, and hooray for Switzerland!

@Yellow.Clover:  Miss you too! When this crazy month is over, hopefully I’ll be back on a little more regularly. I miss everyone’s updates! And yes, I’m writing a novel. Last year’s National Novel Writing Month was my first, and I got the first 50,000 words of it written. Now I’m trying to finish it by the end of the month. We’ll see.

@MrsFarmer:  i’m so sorry about having to deal with your sister’s news – i don’t know how i’d cope in that scenario (although i’d probably feel sorry for her with 5 kids!!! man!! and, SHE won’t be flitting to Switzerland any time soon πŸ˜‰ (i know that you’d switch in a heartbeat, but sometimes a nar-ne-nar-nar can help out a little)

hi all, i’m still cruising through this cycle, 9DPO now, but temps have dropped right down, so not sure what’s happening there… ah well, if it’s not to be i’ll be ok, this cycle would have been nice, but i’ll just take a nice short 31 day cycle as a win.

went to see my new specialist (OBGYN) on Tuesday – she spoke a million miles an hour, but i liked her and think we’ll get along well – if I take a note pad next time. She said hubby has to be re-tested before she’ll do anything for me (fair enough), but sent me for full bloodwork and gave me a great website to research Clomid so I can decide if that is our next step. I LOVED the fact that she’s letting me have input!! If we decide on Clomid, we’ll try that for a few months before any exploratory procedures.

But, still feel like my Naturo is doing wonderful things for me, so keen to try that for a few more cycles. Not sure if that seems a bit crazy (keeping with herbs instead of medicine) but i’m not feeling so ‘desperate’ right now, so think i should embrace that while it lasts.

I check in on you all almost daily, but stopping myself from commenting each time is letting me keep some mental distance from the whole thing. I’m thinking of you all!!!

Oh – and the website she sent me to is this: http://www.uptodate.com/home/uptodate-benefits-patients (just search in the bar for the drug or illness you want to research). Research-based and kept up to date – awesome!! No more Dr Google for me!!
