@elchalten:  So nice to see you around here again.  Your plan sounds good.  I still have my fingers crossed that you don’t have to do IVF.

@dodgercpkl:  All that sounds very positive.  Hoping that after everything you’ve been through this will finally be the month!

AFM – It’s CD8, so nothing exciting to report.  Just did our Remembrance Day ceremony yesterday and today relaxing and enjoying an extra day off work.

@SapphireSun:  Lucky you! Hope you’re enjoying your day off today! : )

So, ladies, our appraisal came back good!! We are set for closing on the 21st! Wahoo! Looks like I’ll be moving this weekend! Right now it’s in the underwriting stage for her loan approval. I would hope nothing has changed in the last 30 days since she was pre-approved to make the deal fall through. So we’re still not clear yet, but I’m hoping it should be a done deal!

We should probably do introductions before we get too far off the front page.  I’ll go first:

Cycle Day and TTC since/Cycles trying: CD8 this cycle, TTC since August 2010.

Age (if you care to share): 29

Issues if any: I still say I have PCOS, but currently have that diagnosis retracted.  Incredibly long cycles.  DH did an SA last month, and no issues there.

Charting? Doesn’t seem to want to post the link correctly, but yes.  Here?

I will test: will try to hold out until 11 days after FF says I ovulated.

How are you going after you BFP: just charting and taking Royal jelly and CoQ10.  Also trying to lose weight, since my doctor won’t prescribe clomid or do any further fertility treatment until I get that in check.

and because I’m in a vacation frame of mind, vacation you’d take tomorrow if money were no object: I’d say back to NYC for Christmas tree lighting.  We were just there in the spring, but I want to go skating!  But it’s also really cold here now, so maybe NYC for a few days, and then board a cruise/flight to some fantastic Carribbean destination.

Cycle Day and TTC since/Cycles trying:  CD 16, NTNP since 05/2009, TTC since 09/2011. I’m on my 13th cycle.

Age (if you care to share): 30

Issues if any: PCOS, suspected endo.

Charting? Yep!  http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/yellowclover

I will test: I think, 11/27. Because of my wonkied up cycle last month, FF doesn’t know my cycle lengths yet. But, if my cycles are back to normal this month (oh please, oh please) AF should arrive, on the 27th. But, of course this all depends on when I O.

How are you going after you BFP: This cycle, is non medicated!! Well other than prenatals and b-complex. Not sure if I need the b-complex, but I added it in for healthy benifits. Also continuing to chart and OPK.

and because I’m in a vacation frame of mind, vacation you’d take tomorrow if money were no object: If money and time weren’t an issue I’d love to go to Europe! Mostly England, Spain, Paris, Rome, Ireland, Athens, Amsterdam.

@SapphireSun:  Your chart didn’t work.

Good luck on the weight loss! It really is a hard journey, especially with PCOS. Are you following a certain diet plan? I keep changing mine. It’s hard to find something I like that actually works. I started back at the gym last week, so hopefully I’ll start seeing some results soon from that. Any reason your doctor won’t prescribe Clomid unless you loose weight?

NYC sounds fun. I’ve been there a few times. I love it. I bet it’s beautiful around Christmas time. But, I have to say a Caribbean destination sounds amazing! Ahhh..

Cycle Day and TTC since/Cycles trying: TTC since 3/2011

Age (if you care to share): 25

Issues if any: PCOS & Endometriosis

Charting? I wasnt the best at it, but i tried. FF confused me though. Then dr’s put me on BC to jump start my ovaries and told me not to chart since they were monitoring and we did injectons this cycle.

I will test: i wasnt supposed to test until tomorrow… but i tested on saturday at 10dpo. bfp!

How are you going after you BFP: prenatals, progesterone, estrogen, yoga & hopefully a bit more of clean eating. i despise veggies =/

and because I’m in a vacation frame of mind, vacation you’d take tomorrow if money were no object: im obsessed with cruises. i also want to go back home to germany, we were planning to in april but if im 6 months pregnant idk how thatll go about. i want to go to antiqua really bad! bora bora too. aaand maybe if no money is involved take me to cali to buy fancy baby things. its snowing in MN today 🙁

@Yellow.Clover:  i was told to lose some weight/lower my bmi too when i first met with our ivf specialist but then when i returned i was still prescribled letrozole. (after a month of bcp) – losing weight didnt really happen for me. ive been trying since 5/12, even quit my job to focus more on the gym eating better and reducing stress. but pcos is the winner. i think i lost maybe 2lbs? i tried isagenix too which works for so many people. i wish i could change my taste buds. best wishes ladies!

@Yellow.Clover:  I’m not sure what’s going on with it.  I did it the same way that usually works, but it just wouldn’t take.

I typically avoid white sugar/flour. Pretty much if I even think about those things I gain weight. 1100-1300 calories/No carbs after lunch/1 hour cardio/weights every other day usually is what works for me, but it just sucks so bad… haha So trying to count calories and run more.  I ran a 3k last week and was totally winded and so sore the next day, which sucks because before summer I could easily run a 10, but then fell off the wagon while it was too hot to run, and just never got back into it.

@SapphireSun:  YES, it does suck!! I’ve been following a similar eating plan, but have been swaying away here lately. I really need to get back on strict! But it’s so hard. Starting TODAY, no more carbs after 4:00! I’d like to loose another 15lbs by the 1st of the year, but I don’t know if that will happen. I’d be happy with 10!

Good for you though. At least you’re doing it! Shoot, I get so winded just by walking on the treadmill for a mile and a half! haha. I’m so out of shape, well, I was never in shape, so I don’t know if I can really say that!

Wow, it’s been a few months. I’ve missed you guys! Happy to see some of you have graduated from this thread, sad to see some old timers still here and very sad to see that more have joined us. (Any of you change your name since last May?)

I MC in May and need to take some time off from the Baords. Then we bought our TLC house and I poured my energy into that for a few months. We tried naturally for 3 months after the MC, then one month medicated (clomid, gonal-f and ovidril)  and did our 3rd IUI (gonal-f and ovidril) last month (BFN). I’m taking a few months off cause the hormone mess. me. up. So in Jan we will start IVF.

Cycle Day and TTC since/Cycles trying: CD5 trying since Dec 2010

Age (if you care to share): 42 (yikes!)

Issues if any: Age, FSH 13.9 which doc says is good for a 42yo. Have trouble ovulating and at times really long AF (60 days). Maybe DH, but prob not anymore. He had low morphology last year, but since he’s been taking supplements his # have shot through the roof! (post wash# 1st (jan)- 5 million, 2nd (feb)- 15 million, 3rd (oct)- 35 million)

Charting? No. When trying naturally I use the CBE Fertility Monitor

I will test: ? I’m just hoping I O this month

How are you going after you BFP: What am I not doing or taking? Acupucture, Mayan Massage, Fertility Yoga, chinese herbs, prenatals, vit d, vit c, b-6, b-12, vit e, omega-3, maca, dhea, coq10, insitol, melatonin, TCM diet (no gluten, dairy, cold or raw foods)

and because I’m in a vacation frame of mind, vacation you’d take tomorrow if money were no object: Part of me would love to go back to Vegas to relive our Honeymoon, but if money were no object, I’d love to go to Europe. Maybe a tour around the medditeranian.

Cycle Day and TTC since/Cycles trying:  Cycle day 19. TTC 14 months

Age (if you care to share): 36

Issues if any: unknown

Charting? Trying but I suck at it. I’m going to start next month with FF

I will test: I don’t see a reason for it this month but probably in a week

How are you going after you BFP: After IUI, IVF and FET we took a 3 month break, now we’re with a new doctor going for IVF2

and because I’m in a vacation frame of mind, vacation you’d take tomorrow if money were no object: BALI. I saw amazing pictures but not only is the plane so expensive, it’s also an incredibly long trip. Would love to see it and stay on one of those houses standing over the blue green sea. aaaah

@KoiKove:  Oh my, it has been a while since I’ve “seen” you on here! I’m not sure if I had changed my name in May or not, don’t think I did, but I was Ang091011. Not even too sure how active I was at that time? But, I do remember you! Congrats on the house! Sorry you still need to be here, but I’m sending you such positive thoughts and prayers that it will happen very soon. I’m excited for you doing IVF, although, I hope you get your bfp before then! : )
