Like I posted on the 6 Months + thread, I know there’s a bunch of us who are quickly sailing past the 1 year TTC mark with no success. I thought a group for some of us who have been around a bit longer might be helpful.
Who’s out there?

Cycle Day: 9
Months/Cycles TTC: 20 months/? cycles
Any diagnoses? Plans moving forward? PCOS, primary infertility. Naturopathic remedies moving forward
Biggest Motivator in the TTC process: The thought of my hubs as a dad
Something we might not know about you: I’ve always dreamed of working at Starbucks
Post # 4
Good idea! I have been staying away from the boards a little bit because I have been so down about the whole TTC situation, but I miss the support too.
Cycle Day: 6
Months/Cycles TTC: 13 cycles
Any diagnoses? Plans moving forward? PCOS. Trying to lose some weight before starting clomid.
Biggest Motivator in the TTC process: The reminder of how amazing it will be when Darling Husband and I hold our baby for the first time.
Something we might not know about you: Kind of on the same lines as @redsmarties, but, my favorite job that I have ever had was working at the grocery store when I was a teenager. I fantasize about quitting my job and going back all the time. The fact that I think about this frequently, probably means I need more excitement in my life!

- Wedding: May 2011 - Vandiver Inn
I know I just started posting in the 6+ month group, but the truth is, I fit here too. At least I’m in good company? We’re about to start our first round (and hopefully only round?) of IVF in a couple of weeks.
Cycle Day: 9
Months/Cycles TTC: 15 months
Any diagnoses? Plans moving forward? severe male factor infertility
Biggest Motivator in the TTC process: The idea of having a family with Mr. Lox.
Something we might not know about you: I always freeze up and my mind goes blank whenever I see a question like this. 😉

I’m really excited to see this thread. (I’m sure you all know how I mean it). I can not wait to see the first BFP on this thread and I would honestly be thrilled for each and every one of you. Looking forward to catch up!
Cycle Day: 13
Months/Cycles TTC: 16 months/cycles
Any diagnoses? Plans moving forward? Diminished Ovarian Reserve (I’m 31). High(er) FSH, Low(er) AFC, Thin(ner) lining. No MF. Injectables + first IUI next cycle.
Biggest Motivator in the TTC process: Knowing that in the end it will all be worth it. Like “Your first breath took ours away”.
Something we might not know about you: Since you guys are talking about jobs. This whole journey has brought me to Yoga and now I’m trying to get a job with Lululemon 🙂
Post # 7
Cycle Day: 11dpo
Months/Cycles TTC: Month 15/Cycle 16
Any diagnoses? Plans moving forward? No diagnosis yet. We will begin Creighton charting and will be doctoring with a NaPro doctor starting (hopefully!) in the next month or two.
Biggest Motivator in the TTC process: The unbelievable and surreal moment when I take a pregnancy test and there IS a second line. Wow. And then the unimagineable happiness on DH’s face when I tell him/show him. Followed by 15+ months pent-up tears of joy…In comparing it to a wedding, it will be like THE moment when you first saw your Darling Husband at the end of that aisle–no emotions can adequately describe it!
Something we might not know about you: Haven’t I shared my whole life story with you guys?? I mean you guys all know about my CM and when I O and stuff. 😉 Haha
Since we’re talking jobs…At age 26, I am the youngest Agricultural lender by far in our whole company (out of about 30 Ag lenders) and I’ve been lending for about two years now. I started with our company in a position that was supposed to be temporary, and I’m still here six and a half years later. 🙂 Oh, and I love snowboarding. How’s that for random?

Cycle Day: –7 (aiming for CD1 next Thursday)
Months/Cycles TTC: NTNT since 5/10, TTC since 1/11 (19 months)
Any diagnoses? PCOS w/ anovulation
Plans moving forward? Getting ready for our first Follistim cycle + IUI, after that, we’ll try on our own until we can save up enough for another IUI.
Biggest Motivator in the TTC process: Hope that it will be my turn someday. On my good days, I do believe it will probably happen for us, at some point. My mother, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother all took more than one year to get pregnant and my great grandmother was told she would never have children. She adopted twins and six years later, had my grandmother. Surprise!
Something we might not know about you: If we get pregnant soon, we will have the first grandchild for both of our sets of parents. Since we’re talking about jobs, I’m a magazine editor by day and a wedding photographer on the weekends.

Thanks for joining me, ladies! I hate that we’re all here, but…I kind of love that we’re here together, you know?
Your motivations are all making me tear up. And @elchalten – I would LOVE to work at Lululemon…even if it were just for the discount 😉

- Wedding: July 2010 - Catholic Church & The Engine Room at Georgetown Studios
Cycle Day: 4DPO
Months/Cycles TTC: 12 Months 15 cycles (I think- seriously losing count)
Any diagnoses? Plans moving forward? Low Progesterone, Hypothyroid. Working with a NaPro Technology doctor. Husband has low morphology and he is working with specialists on that too.
Biggest Motivator in the TTC process: Watching my husband with kids. He lights up my heart.
Something we might not know about you: If we get pregnant we will be the last of both our families to get pregnant and my husband is the oldest of 4, I am 35 and 9 years older than my husband’s youngest siblings- it kinda stings when they get pregnant easily. 🙁
Since we are talking jobs- I am Learning, Training, and Development specialist for a large corporation but once upon a time I did college football recruiting. A couple of my recruits (and an ex-boyfriend) are still playing in the NFL 10 years later. It seems like a lifetime ago.

I have had trouble staying with groups like this, although the support is awesome, I have just been getting SOOOO down on myself throughout this process. And it is happening again this cycle as my temps aren’t showing any indication of ovulation at CD26 :-(. But I hope that I can stick around with you awesome ladies!
Cycle Day: 26
Months/Cycles TTC: TTC since Jun 2011 but only 7 cycles due to REALLY long annovulatory cycles
Any diagnoses? Plans moving forward? PCOS and annovulatory. On Metformin and second clomid cycle (100mg).
Biggest Motivator in the TTC process: Just the thought of starting a family with Darling Husband. The internal burning desire to have my baby in my arms.
Something we might not know about you: I have a black belt in karate
Post # 12
Cycle Day: CD10
Months/Cycles TTC: 12 Months..but lots of cycles b/c I’m averaging 25 days/cycle.
Any diagnoses? Plans moving forward? I O but now with enough pizzazz! I am a “spotter” and have low progesterone. I’m on my 3rd round of clomid (I got a bfp on my 1st clomid try but ended in an ectopic/mc). I also take progesterone 48 hrs after O. I am getting a saline u/s tomorrow to check for fibroids as well as my usual follicle scan b/c I’m on clomid (fingers crossed I don’t O til after procedure!
Biggest Motivator in the TTC process: I think my Darling Husband would be an awesome dad. I also have a fantastic family and I want my kids to “know” them and grow up with their cousins. And just the pure joy of what it must be like. I want to know that “feeling” of holding my LO for the first time.
Something we might not know about you: You know more about me than most people IRL. How about something totally random: I love reading, chips and dip, and any food that is goey.
Just like all of you, I’m happy to share my journey with you and I’m glad to be a support to all of you. I just can’t believe that it has been 1 year and still going….
Just saw that this got started now. I like it!
Cycle Day: 45, day 3 of Provera to induce a period.
Months/Cycles TTC: 1 year, 5 cycles
Any diagnoses? Plans moving forward? I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 22 (now 28), but my new RE disagrees with the diagnois, so we’re back to square one figuring out what my issues are. I’m supposed to do CD3 bloodwork this cycle, and and Darling Husband is supposed to get an SA whenever he can get in…
Biggest Motivator in the TTC process: Definitely my husband getting to be a dad right now. We were at a “sip and see” co-ed baby shower for a co-worker, and he wasn’t sharing the baby very nicely with others. He got his turn holding it, and people were nicely offering to take it from him, and he kept just being like… “I’m good… it’s ok… I don’t mind holding it longer”. Breaks my heart.
Something we might not know about you: Since we all seem to be talking about work, and I think most of you already know what I do currently but you may not know that my dream job growing up was to be a princess. But I was a realistic kid, and perfectly ok with just getting to be Cinderella at Disneyland.

I am right here with all of you, and you better believe I’m stalking and sending good vibes your way. Love to my year+ ladies. x
Post # 15
Cycle Day: ? still waiting for my first period since my d&c 6 weeks ago after i miscarried at 9.5 weeks. last week’s bloodwork indicated that I miraculously ovulated on my own, so now it’s just a waiting game.
Months/Cycles TTC: 12 months
Any diagnoses? Plans moving forward? pcos/hypothyroidism. desperately trying to stay positive and cut back on carbs. as soon as af arrives, my re is planning to repeat the same combination of clomid, trigger shot, and iui that got us pregnant last time.
Biggest Motivator in the TTC process: i am constantly surrounded by cute babies who are going through that stage where they don’t want anyone to hold them but their mommy. i want that so so much.
Something we might not know about you: i never wanted marriage or babies, but then i fell in love.

Nice to see so many familiar faces and a big hello to the ladies haven’t quite met yet. Interesting to see where/what everybody is doing for living.
@redsmarties: Should we both apply for a job? We would have so much to talk about (other than work). LOL.
@Mrs. Jaguar: Thanks for popping in! Love to have you as a stalker 🙂 Hope everything is going well (including your job!).
@thesaurus rex: Love your “something we might not know about you”.
@bunny: Hopefully CD1 will be the day you are aiming for.
I know that some of you are having a blog and are part of the bloggie community. I would love to follow you along. PM me if you can handle another stalker/commenter. Hope everyone is having a great day!
