I hope it’s ok that I pop in here even though I’m currently pregnant since I’v be at this a very long time.

sleepymelis :  If you are looking into more supplements, my RE also recommend resveratrol, acai, melatonin (as high anti oxidant supplement) and myo-inositol (this one for mild pcos, so maybe it doesnt apply to you).

Dr_dazzle :  From what I know about endo, it can only really be diagniosed with a lap.  And even if they do see endo and remove it, it’s unknow at the moment if there is endo on a cellular level that can effect the endometrium that can not be seen during a lap.  Something to maybe ask about would be EFT or ERA to test tne endo and make sure it’s optimal for a transfer.

lifeisbeeutiful :  Are you going to do PGS?

My history:

Your Age/Partner’s Age: 38/33

How long you have been together/married: 10 years/7 years

How long you have been TTC: Sept 2012, 5.5 years

Known Issues/TTC History: Unexplains/mild pcos.  low maturity/poor egg quality.  GDA.

Thinngs we’ve done: (fertility meds, supplements, OPKs, BBT charting, NTNP, etc).  3 IUI, 8 retreivals, 2 transfers with 3day embryos (bfn), 3 transfers with blasts (bfps)  3 m/c and just got our bfp 2 weeks ago with the 3rd.

Just for fun: Where is a place you’d love to visit soon?  Jordan/Petra when it’s safe to do so.

pinkshoes :  thanks for the tip! I’m always on the lookout for supplements to add to my regimen!

I have looked into myo-inositol but saw that it was mostly for PCOS, so I decided against it. My issue is more low bbt / short LP / scanty menses. So it seems like I’m deficient in ALL the hormones – probably a side effect of 20 years on BC. And having 38-year-old eggs. 🙄

What is resveratrol for?

sleepymelis :  It’s like acai, just another antioxidant, for eqq quality supposedly.

Dr_dazzle :  this board is a great idea- thanks for starting. Hope we can all help and support each other. Sleepymelis, you sound like me- I was on bc 10 years and often went straight through packs to avoid periods. No family history of early menopause so I’m not sure why my egg quality would be low or what else I can do?

lifeisbeeutiful :  ooh ok, yes pgd covers pgs.  Pgd looks for specific mutations or known issues,  pgs (s=screening) just counts for the right number of chromosomes.

mkat37 :  last time I primed with bcp, then Did microdose Lupron flare protocol. This time I did estrogen priming, then 150 IU of menopur and 450 of follistim and add in ganirelex when I’m getting closer. I’m terrible at knowing the names of the protocols. I’m hoping the change results in better quality. Our last transfer we had 3 remaining on day 5 but they hadn’t made it to the blast stage and had high percentage of fragmentation. Transferred 2, neither stuck and our last one didn’t make it to freeze.
