ROLL CALL

Your Age/Partner’s Age: 32/31

How long you have been together/married: 11 years/2.5 years

How long you have been TTC: 2.5 years

Known Issues/TTC History: Oh boy – I will try to keep this short and sweet. DOR for me (AMH: 0.16, FSH: 14, AFC: generally 4-6). Low volume for Darling Husband, iffy morphology and fluctuating counts.

TTC naturally for 1 year with an early MC during cycle #6. Met with RE, did a few medicated cycles and 6 IUI’s – gor pregnant on #3 with another MC to follow. IVF #1 was in July, retrieved 5 eggs, 4 mature (nearly half of my “mature” sized follicles were empty). All 4 fertilized – 2 arrested day 5, 1 was of too poor quality to freeze on day 6, and we have 1 frozen 4AB blast waiting. Currently stim day 8 of 2nd IVF banking cycle…things are looking much better this time around but I don’t want to get my hopes up and then face disappointment again.

Your TTC plans for the next few months: (fertility meds, supplements, OPKs, BBT charting, NTNP, etc): As mentioned above, we are currently in the midst of a second embryo banking cycle. Right now it is looking like I will stim for at least 2 more days wiht retrieval probably Friday or Saturday if all continues to progress. Once retrieval is done, provera for 10 days and wait for AF so that we can start a FET. Fingers crossed we get another blast or two out of this!

Just for fun: What is your ultimate guilty pleasure food? Maybe something that everyone else thinks is totally gross, “cheat” snacks, or something you eat only with your SO is away? Hmmm…too many to name, but I would have to go with ice cream, chips and queso or wine for dinner when hubby is traveling for work. sealed

ROLL CALL

Your Age/Partner’s Age: 33/36

How long you have been together/married: 6 years/4 years

How long you have been TTC: 2 years

Known Issues/TTC History:  No actual fertility issues.  It’s more of a mechanical issue with my spine; I am unable to carry a pregnancy myself, so we will be using a surrogate.   Went through IVF #1 in March, 30 eggs retrieved, 4 blasts frozen, 2 failed transfers and 2 blasts that failed to thaw (we shipped embryos to a different clinic for transfer and I am seriously regretting that decision).  Surrogate also quit last month, and we have no embryos left. πŸ™

Your TTC plans for the next few months:  Just matched with a new surrogate and will start IVF #2 in a couple weeks, retrieval tentatively scheduled for Sep 14th.  Hoping for a frozen transfer to surrogate in October.

Just for fun: What is your ultimate guilty pleasure food? Maybe something that everyone else thinks is totally gross, “cheat” snacks, or something you eat only with your SO is away?  Chicago-style deep dish pizza.  I’ll order one when Darling Husband is out of town for work, and I’ll eat the whole dang thing myself.

ROLL CALL

Your Age/Partner’s Age: 33/34

How long you have been together/married: almost 9 years/almost 3 years

How long you have been TTC: 2.5 years

Known Issues/TTC History: Nothing that we know of. Dr. kind of suspected mild PCOS, but no definite diagnosis. last SHG showed some debris near the tubes so he’ll do a hysteroscopy at ER to investigate.

4 failed IUI’s (2 clomd and 2 oral/injectible cycles). Started BCP last Friday to start prepping me of IVF. Crap.

Your TTC plans for the next few months: (fertility meds, supplements, OPKs, BBT charting, NTNP, etc): Trying to be healthy. BCP for now, and starting stims in the next few weeks.

Just for fun: What is your ultimate guilty pleasure food? Maybe something that everyone else thinks is totally gross, “cheat” snacks, or something you eat only with your SO is away?

Oh gosh, I eat lots of crap. But I do like some flamin hot cheetos with cream cheese.

ROLL CALL

Your Age/Partners Age: 31/28

How long have you been together/married: 8.5 years/2.5 years

How long have you been TTC: 2 years

Known Issues/TTC History: Where to start! Husband has had previous treatment which has knocked down his sperm count which we were not told would happen, luckily have some frozen. We were looking into IUI, and found out I have extremely low AMH levels and slightly raised FSH. Underwent lap for suspected hydrosalpinx, found ovarian cyst and pelvic adhesions. In light of all this, specialist has recommended IVF/ICSI.

Your TTC plans for the next few months (fertility meds, supplements, OPKs, BBT charting, NTNP, etc): IVF/ICSI. Day 21 appointment today, get all my scripts and start syneral.

Just for fun: What is your ultimate guilty pleasure food? Maybe something everyone else thinks is totally gross, “cheat” snacks, or something you eat only when your SO is away? My sneaky biscuit stash at work πŸ˜‰

ROLL CALL

Your Age/Partner’s Age: 31/42

How long you have been together/married: 4 years

How long you have been TTC: 18 months

Known Issues/TTC History: I don’t ovulate regularly and there has been no stated reason. Darling Husband has “low volume” which equates to a decreased amount of sperm even though his concentration is normal. 3 IUIs with oral meds (1 chemical pregnancy). IVF retrieval in July- my ovaries sucked up those meds and went crazy which caused worst case scenario in the end. 46 eggs retrieved, 26 mature, 18 fertilized, 18 made it to day 3, 4 frozen and PGS tested on day 6 and we have TWO normal frosties after all that. We were supposed to do a fresh transfer but I panicked when our numbers tanked. Conversation with RE pretty much said that he would start me on a much lower dose than the “low dose” he started me on originally “next time”. Because of my high AMH and my age, we are moving ahead with a FET tentatively scheduled for 9/3.

Your TTC plans for the next few months: (fertility meds, supplements, OPKs, BBT charting, NTNP, etc) I’m already on oral estrodiol for FET, go in Wednesday for first lining check. Side effects- extremely tired and I’ve been crying every day. The stims were easier (initially lol). FET 9/3!

Just for fun: What is your ultimate guilty pleasure food? Maybe something that everyone else thinks is totally gross, “cheat” snacks, or something you eat only with your SO is away? πŸ˜‰

Anything chewy- twizzlers, gummy bears, fruit snacks, sour patch kids… mmmmm

I keep imaginging two beautiful pink lines, counting down the days until 9/12 (tentative beta) and praying this is my last roll call. Cheering everyone on!

ROLL CALL

Your Age/Partner’s Age: 27/31

How long you have been together/married: 5 years together, married for 4

How long you have been TTC: 24 months

Known Issues: endometriosis, PCOS, missing an ovary/tube (due to the PCOS/endo combo), low response to oral meds but can come close to over responding on injectables, elevated prolactin and fasting insulin levels (me).  low motility/morphology (DH)

TTC History:  started TTC in August 2014 after my doctor told me she felt we needed to move fast if we wanted bio kids. We’ve done 3 rounds of Clomid, 3 of Femara alone, 3 with hybrid oral/injectables and 2 IUI’s.  I’ve had 4 laparoscopies and the great news is they finally got on top of the endo and there’s none on the surface anymore!

Your TTC plans for the next few months: (fertility meds, supplements, OPKs, BBT charting, NTNP, etc): this cycle was supposed to be IUI, but it was cancelled when I only had one lead follie so converted to TI.  Waiting for AF this weekend and then beginning IUI #3 next week with Femara, gonal-f and ovidrel.  I’m on cabergoline for the prolactin and that will get rechecked next week.  We’re giving IUI’s until the end of December and then switching gears to adoption instead.

Just for fun: What is your ultimate guilty pleasure food? Maybe something that everyone else thinks is totally gross, “cheat” snacks, or something you eat only with your SO is away? πŸ˜‰  Cookie dough or brownie batter all the way.

ROLL CALL

Your Age/Partner’s Age: 27/30

How long you have been together/married: Together 10 years, married 5

How long you have been TTC: 2 years + 4 months

Known Issues/TTC History: Technically ‘unexplained’. I do have slightly high prolactin levels that are controlled by meds. We’ve done three rounds of IUI with injectibles and one round of IVF with a fresh transfer, all BFN. After reviewing my IVF cycle, my RE did note a few ‘red flags’ for egg quality issues but nothing conclusive.

Your TTC plans for the next few months: (fertility meds, supplements, OPKs, BBT charting, NTNP, etc): Six days away from my first frozen embryo transfer! I start progesterone tomorrow. So hopefully my stay on this thread will be short and sweet this time 😊

Just for fun: What is your ultimate guilty pleasure food? Maybe something that everyone else thinks is totally gross, “cheat” snacks, or something you eat only with your SO is away? πŸ˜‰ I eat way too much candy in general… I have a huge sweet tooth! I would totally have chips and dip and candy for dinner when Darling Husband isn’t around!
