Totally cute, if our venue was available that early, I totally would have gone that route. We are leaving the morning after the wedding on a cruise with the family so it would’ve helped to have the evening to relax and prep for the next morning =)  I also think it’s neat that you’re running with ten as a theme ^^

I think I took pictures of my invites, but really I was in a rush to just have them sent out I didn’t think to take many.  I don’t know how to describe our theme, it’s like… “whatever-I-liked-the-most-when-I-decided-to-do-it” theme lol..

I would be interested to see if anyone else could think of something to add to your theme… I’d be wary of over doing it though because too much could make it campy.

I am! woooooo. So excited.

We’re getting married in Cabo San Lucas, so I designed our own invites with a striped/Mexican blanket/party vibe!

Have fun on your big day. ๐Ÿ™‚

@Finberg … I definitely prefer #2, hands down, design and fonts. The first one is a bit  hard to read with all of the fonts at the same size.  I also prefer the wording, since the first one sounds more formal, like an actual invitation.

Have fun!

I bet if you add a poll, #2 will be the hands down winner. Just let him know that, even though he may prefer #1 and you respect his opinion, it needs to be clear and easy to read for your guests, which #2 accomplishes much better.

We are 10-10-10 as well!  Not really playing too much on the date though (Other than hello, it’s awesome!)  our “theme” is (well what I’m going for…) “rustic understated tropical!”  haha

I really like your idea of pics of you when you were 10 years old. Wish I would have thought of that. Your invites are super nice. We had the green nature theme also (more sand/orchids though).

We were married @ 10-10-9 and we used 10.10 for our centerpiece giveaway, meaning the first person to show $10.10 got to keep the tall vase/flowers.

We  found a lot of good 10:10 verses of scripture we added to the magazine program.

By the way, our wedding was at 10AM but my aunty time/date stamped a pic at exactly 10:10 and it was of my dad was kissing me after he walked me down the aisle and gave me away.

P.S.  I loved the idea of 10/10/10 but didn’t want to wait another year for it to roll around. Our first baby is due around 1/9 but I’m hoping for 1/11/11 at 11:11. ๐Ÿ™‚

We were together for 8 months before Darling Husband proposed, engaged for 8 months and just made 8 month anniversary a few days ago.

I’m 10-10-10! We just passed our 4 month countdown. Craziness. I’ll post my invites as soon as they’re done, but I’m having an outside tent wedding at my FI’s family home in Woodstock. I’d say my general theme is artsy and natural. Lots of tree images and leaf colors everywhere… I’m so excited that I share this date with you lovely ladies!

Hello wedding day twins!!!  We are having a NYC destination wedding/theme, since most of FH’s friends and family members are from out-of-town.  My family and friends are from here though, so we didn’t want to go overboard.  We are getting married at Battery Gardens, right by the SI Ferry and with a great view of the Statue of Liberty.

Our invitations have a lamp post on them, the reply cards have a park bench, and the escort cards have bricks.  (See picture below – taken from web, not ours.)  The company went out of business a few months before we ordered the invites, but the wonderful people at the stationary store bought the rights and printed them up for me!

Other thematic elements – some sort of NYC-related edible favor (maybe black and white cookies?), tables named after NYC streets, and metrocards in all of the Out of Town bags…
