1. I’ve had 19 teeth pulled- (most were baby teeth but not all). Thankfully because of my dentists amazing work, I’ve never needed braces.

2. I secretely dread wedding planning. It’s stressful and time consuming. I just want it to be pretty and my family to be there!

3. I hate having pet fish because I get attached, and then they die!

4. I have some crazy terrible nightmares. People always think I’m being a wuss or girlie-girl when I close my eyes at scary parts in movies, but I always get bad dreams from it!

5. I hate being the last one to shut off the lights downstairs. I always run upstairs afterwards because it creeps me out.

6. I’m a great shot with a pistol and a rifle. My dad is an NRA instructor, and I have been shooting all my life. The guys call me Annie Oakley.

7. I love to go hunting, but mainly because I like walking through the woods and watching the wildlife. It’s so fun to see a deer, but I only shoot when I *know* it will be a good clean shot and we need the meat. Just because I hunt deer doesn’t mean that I don’t find them to be beautiful peaceful creatures.

8. I seem like such an independent gal somedays, but I still love to be romanced.

9. I want to work in hippotherapy one day (physical therapy on horses).

10. If I could live anywhere, it would be either the Smokey Mountains of TN, or the Rockies in CO. I love mountain life.

1. I have very long, curly eyelashes which are naturally blonde; however I get them tinted and also wear mascara – people often asked if they are false or are extensions. When I had them tinted for the first time in high school I was hauled in to the principal’s office and asked to explain why I was wearing false eyelashes to school – my Mum was called in and had to bring make-up remover with her to prove they were in fact, my real lashes.

2. I’m terrified of birds. Swans, Geese, Ducks, and Seagulls…pretty much anything bigger than a Pigeon scares me and I will cry instantly if a bird swoops at me, in my direction, or just gets too close. When I was 2 years old, I was attacked by a group of swans on the edge of a pier at a lake. They pecked me until I fell backwards into the water – I almost drowned.

3. I adore romance novels – think Nicholas Sparks and Danielle Steel. I also have an obsession with the deliciously trashy Mills and Boons books.

4. I hate sushi. I cannot convince myself to eat seaweed. It’s not normal. Seaweed is the gross, slimy stuff you avoid at the beach – it is not a food. I’ve tried so many times to eat it; once I actually took a bite, but I just gaged, spat it out and proceeded to wipe out my mouth with my sleeve.

5. I have travelled to 10 or 11 countries (depending on if you consider Hong Kong its own country). I love experiencing other countries, cultures and I’m trying to convince my SO that we should spend 6 months backpacking around Mexico and Central America.

6. I had to have an emergency appendectomy (which took twice the ‘normal’ procedure time) at the beginning of this year, so I have a 15+cm scar on the right hand side of my lower abdomen. My appendix was too enlarged for keyhole surgery and the Doctors were concerned it was going to burst, which is why they just sliced me open.

7. I’ve never, ever had a filling and I have natural, perfectly straight teeth.

8. I love red meat, but the smell of it being cooked is revolting to me. I also cannot stand dealing with raw meat (bagging it up, cutting it etc.).

9. Nothing bothers me more than people who use the wrong your/you’re, there/their/they’re etc. and when people say ‘I could care less’ when meaning they couldn’t care less, my brain has a small seizure.

10. Elephants are one of my favourite animals and it makes me so angry and sad when people brag about how they’ve ridden one. One of my ‘life goals’ is to spend time volunteering at an Elephant sanctuary in Thailand.

@sherryberry:  “2. I discovered an amazing bra- warners with no underwire, and I am going to buy them ALL.”

What bra???  I used to love most of their non-underwires (like they were all I wore for over two decades) and they don’t make them now and I hate shopping.  Help a girl out!  🙂

1. I have a best friend that I literally met the day she came home from the hospital, we were born a month apart. Her mom and my mom were best friends since they were 12. Since then, we have grown up together, we both were in band and track and field in high school, we both attended the same university, and we are getting married within a year of each other and we are each other’s MOH’s.  I am 100% honest when I say I hope we have kids at the same time and they grow up like we did!

2. I have a fair amount of pretty long-lived relatives. My great grandfather is 100, my great grandmother (his wife) just passed away this past April and she was 5 days shy of 99. She died (somewhat peacefully, I guess) holding his hand. I had a third great grandmother pass in 2008, she was 88, and another great grandmother was over 100, but she passed when I was six or so.

3. I have only ever broken a bone once. It was a hairline fracture in my wrist. I tried to get into the cast thing (since I never got to have everyone sign one when I was a kid) so I got black wrapping and these neat silver and gold markers for people to sign: It lasted a week and in a small fit of rage I pulled it off my wrist and threw it across studio. I learned that I don’t do well with “things” on me that I “cant” get off. Good thing I never had braces….

4. Speaking of braces, my teeth are the thing I want to fix the most. My mouth is a bit crowded.

5. Even though I haven’t been able to ride regularly in a long time, I am an AVID horselover.  I want horses for the rest of my life.

6. I am an obnoxiously insane fan for my college football team. My freshman, sophomore, and junior year I camped out for EVERY.SINGLE.HOME GAME. to get front row seats. I dressed up, painted, the whole nine. My group and I sophomore year were pretty good friends with the jumbotron camera guy so we also got a lot of face time. My mom has a still photo from an ESPN video that shows our group and right there I am, painted white head to pants waist (yes I had a sports bra on.. white obvi) and I look SCARY. Like, intimdating. I love it. Other moms have the school photos and the prom pictures… my mom gets that one.

7. I was a “joiner” a bit in high school: Chorus, band, track and field, cross country, plays and musicals, the yearbook committee, and the prom committee.

8. I like to name my stuff. Cars are Antonio, Clay/Clint (big red dodge ram), and Tina. I have named plants… space heaters… computers… my iPod… yeah.

9. The Dodge Ram heavy duty quad cab short bed 4×4 with a HEMI has been my dream vehicle since I was in high school. I seriously decorated a binder with pictures of them. Muscle cars are great, so are super fast sports cars, but for me it was the truck. The night I met my now husband, it came up in conversation that he had a dodge ram. When I sneakily scoped it out in the parking lot (college apartment complex… I met him at a hot tub party) I knew it was a done deal forever lol. It even had the brush guard and toolbox and Army decals. Sigh.

10. I know I am one of the luckiest people, because even if I won those millions in the lottery tomorrow, I would not quit my job. At least not for several years. I love what I do and I feel blessed to be a part of it every day!

I love this! So fun reading fun facts about everyone.

1. I’m terrified of the dark, always have been. There is no rational reason for this fear, I am just afraid of it.

2. I originally went to university to be an accountant. It was my dream job. I scraped by both my initial accounting courses of Business School by the skin of my teeth before settling on a general designation instead.

3. While I’ve never owned one, my favorite animal is the horse. I’ve spent my childhood riding them and my teenage years taking care of abandoned and siezed horses. Best. Job. Ever.

4. My dad has taken me to probably 35 concerts since I was about 10. He’s big into classic and oldies rock and so am I. We met Alice Cooper when he got us VIP tickets to his concert. It was one of the most exciting days of my life, close second to my wedding.

5. He and my mom also enrolled me in piano when I was 4 and I stuck with it for 12 years. I loved it. The concerts and exams were one of my favorite parts! My parents were always way more nervous than I was.

6. I met my best Girlfriend when I was a few months old. We’re both 24 and have been best friends since we understood the concept. We did the same program in university and she was my maid of honor.

7. Even though I haven’t been to school in over a year and a half, I have a recurring dream of starting a new school year and enrolling in my classes. I realize later I’ve forgot about my classes, don’t go to them, miss assignment deadlines, can’t find the class locations and finally walk in the day of the final exams.

8. My favorite snack is green and red grapes (cut in half) with cashews and cheddar cheese cubes. And wine.

9. I’m an only child that wants to have an only child. Listening to people that think that’s cruel hurts my feelings.

10. Thinking about the possibility of seeing The Hip in concert is enough to bring me to tears. I seriously love them!

3. I can touch my tongue to my nose

4. My dad is a twin

5. I was the first granddaughter on both sides on my family

6. My first concert was *NSYNC and when they were together I saw them a total of 6 times (fun extra: my husband was a dancer in a dance group back in the day and they once performed on stage at a *NSYNC concert.. I was there and had no idea I was watching my future husband)

7. I hate white milk, but enjoy chocolate and strawberry milk

8. My sister & I both bought our first homes at the age of 25 (both with boys who we were only dating)

9. Me and my best friend (we’ve been friends for over 10 years) absolutely hated each other for the first year or so we knew each other, now I can’t imagine my life without her!

This is so interesting 🙂

1. I’m the first one in my family to attend and graduate from a University

2. I love robots, cyborgs and all things post-human

3. The Nightmare Before Christmas is my favorite Disney movie, was the first thing my Fiance and i bonded over, and is now our wedding theme (much to my mother’s horror! haha)

4. I suffered from manic depressive disorder for 7 years. I sought help from a relative who is a counsellor and spent two years working with her to rebuild myself. This was all 4 years ago and I have been feeling amazing ever since!

5. My childhood was like a movie. I had two friends in my neighbourhood and we lived in the country. Winter or summer we would pack a lunch early in the morning and head out to explore and we would not return until sun-set. We grew up in an incredibly safe and loving neighbourhood with many people who kept an eye on us to make sure we were safe but we had a ton of fun.

6. Like many of you, I love planning and organizing. This whole wedding process has been so much fun. It has made me consider a career in wedding planning.

7. I used to have a social anxiety disorder that prevented me from happily engaging in many events. I’ve been able to work through this and overcome most of my fears. It still blows my mind when I am able to get up infront of a crowd to act or present a paper… but again and again I manage to do it 🙂

8. I left the country for the first time this month! My fiance and I went to the U.S. (I cannot even tell you how excited i was to get a stamp on my passport)

9. I am a thrifting Queen! I have thrift shopped from a very young age (as my family had severe financial issues in my youth) and i learned how to do it and do it well. This has benefited me tremendously with the wedding!

10. When i was little I would have my annual birthday sleepover with all my friends. We would have a bon fire outside, eat junk food then watch a horror movie of my choice. Unfortunately, we were very young and many of my girlfriends had never watched or did not enjoy horror films so every year until high school most of the girls would leave the sleepover “sick” from terror from my movie choice. I still love this tradition haha

1. I’m extremely scared of the dark, and I even sleep with a nightlight on.  Even if I’m staying with my SO or vice versa, I keep a light of some sort on.

2. The reason that I’m scared of the dark is because I once had a prowler outside my window.  He was watching me through the shade on my window, and he was stark naked.  I’ll let your imagination fill in the blank for what he was also doing.  I immediately called the cops and my brother-in-law, and I’ve been scared of the dark since.

3. I am completely obsessed with Ron Weasley.  The character just appeals to me in a way that no other literary guy does.  I love the actor who plays him too.  In fact, that leads to number 4!

4. I flew to Las Vegas a couple of a years ago to meet Rupert Grint, aka Ron Weasley.  He was having his birthday party at a club in Vegas, and he was doing an autograph session the next day at one of the Sugar Factory stores there.  I was 3rd in line, and I got his autograph and talked to him for a couple of minutes.

5. I am terrible at managing money.  I ran up loads of credit card debt a few years ago.  After I sold my townhouse, I paid off my credit cards.  Since then, I’ve run up quite a bit of debt again.  Maybe, I’ll learn my lesson after paying them off completely again.

6. I’m a huge fan of anything related to Star Wars, Harry Potter, or the Hunger Games.

7. Of all of the film genres, I probably like horror the best.  My favorite films aren’t even in that genre, but I just like it as a whole.  Sometimes, I want to watch an all out gore fest like Demons.  Other times, I want to be scared out of my mind with something like Dead Birds.

8. I’m pretty much obsessed with Jason Voorhees.  This goes along with my horror obsession.  If Jason wanted to father my children, I’d probably let him.

9. I enjoy cooking, but I really love baking.  Many people say that they’ve never tasted cookies better than my chocolate chip ones.

10. This is probably way too much Too Much Information, but I absolutely love porn parodies.  If it’s a porn parody of one of my favorite shows or movies, then that just makes it even better.
