I have “100 Days!” marked in my daytimer on this coming Thursday (I’m a week after you on October 23).

I’m super excited and feel like it’s FINALLY getting close after seeming so far away for so long. It’s kind of surreal that in just over three months I’m going to be married.

I can’t wait for the wedding and the honeymoon and then to just get back to normal life, but as husband and wife 🙂

Ours will be just over a year – we got engaged on Oct. 10, 2009 and will be married on Oct. 23, 2010.

It’s only been in the past couple weeks that it’s actually felt that something that’s happening soon and not something that’s waaaaay off in the future!

When I hit the 100 day mark I was surprised! Whew time has been flying by! I’m getting married October 2 so each week is starting to matter!

I’ve recently been getting really excited and have been able to help friends find some good deals on some flights, so that’s where I’m at right now. Good luck to all October brides out there!!

It’s 95 days now! So says The Knot website. Yikes. Although I think everything that needs to be in order is. All the vendors are hired, dress is being altered, invites are on their way, guest list complete, honeymoon reservations almost totally done…I just need to book our night of hotel tomorrow (I hope) and I’ll be able to take a tiny breather….maybe….or I could work on oot bags, escort cards, rehearsal dinner reservation, Maid/Matron of Honor gift…oh my!

I officially hit 100 days today and feel like the heat is on and it’s time to get down to business!

On my to do list for the coming days:

-finally booking a hair salon and hair trial

-sending the guys all the info they need to get their tuxes

-sourcing someone to do the labels for our jam favours

-DIYing a card box (or maybe just buying one on etsy…DIY is not my friend)

-compiling all the guests’ addresses

-doing a test run of my “fauxlligraphy”

GAH! It’s starting to be so real and the deadlines are becoming more and more crucial!

What is this fauxligraphy everyone is writing of? Is this where you put the envelope through the printer with a super light font and then trace it so it looks hand done? I was just thinking of hand writing our invitations, it won’t be gorgeous but it will be legible and it will look “nice”. Should I play with fauxligraphy? Or is it something different than what I am thinking?
