I’ve always wanted to have a big galvanized bucket full of pink and black flip-flops at my wedding reception – you know, for those who get tired feet and can’t wear their 4 inch heels anymore. But I just couldn’t justify spending hunderds of bucks since I’d need to get a lot of them.
WELL, I was at Michael’s today picking up some cute little flower decoratiions that I need for the rehearsal dinner invites, and there they were…..a whole bin full of pink and black flip flops! I couldn’t believe my eyes!!! AND…..they were only $1.00! Now, of course they aren’t of the best quality, but they will serve their purpose without looking way tacky. They actually look better than some of the $10.00 flip-flops I’ve seen! SCORE!!

Yeah I saw these the other day and got five pair, for my ‘maids and flower girls. I posted pictures earlier in another thread!

I got 20 of those, plus 10 pairs of cotton Mary Janes (which ended up costing me $1.50 each, including the shipping). Details and more pictures are here.

I bought a bunch of these in fuschia and brown for my luau bday party last Friday. They looked so cute and festive set out in a woven basket! I purchased some for my Bridesmaids as well. A teal pair for my Maid/Matron of Honor and a pink pair for my Bridesmaid or Best Man. I’m going to decorate them with little stick-on crystals (pink crystals on the teal pair & teal crystals on the pink pair) to jazz them up a bit!

Another alternative: Cotton Mary Janes for $17.88 for a dozen, including shipping. This comes out to $1.49 a pair, and unlike flip flops, they can be worn with hose. You can pick what sizes you want.
