I’ve seen a few threads on here from Bees who are unsure whether they and their partner are compatible. It’s hard to know the right questions to ask each other to find out whether you agree/can compromise/definitely DON’T agree on something!
I’ve seen a few ‘couples questionnaires’ on the internet, but I think these are some of the best questions I’ve seen. They definitely led to some interesting discussions between my partner and I. Even though we’ve known each other for nearly 9 years, we both learnt new things.
I thought I would post the link here on the Hive in case it helps anyone else! x

What a great list! Thanks!

We actually did this! Well, most of it. There were a few questions that just didn’t apply. We put it into Google Docs so we could edit it at our leisure (plus we both communicate better via writing). It was really reassuring to see that we are almost totally on the same page.

@DarlingClementine: Great questions! We did a questionaire just like this in our pre-cana class – and it was great. My Darling Husband and I were on the same page with almost all our questions- even ones that we never talked about.

@DarlingClementine: this is a great list! We’ve talked (and lived) our way through some of these but there’s definitely a lot to explore!

This is awesome! I’m gonna try to get Darling Husband to do this while he’s on Thanksgiving break:)
I’ve heard it’s good to fill these questionaires out separately and then go over them together.

@DarlingClementine: Really nice of you to share this! This is good stuff.
We completed a similar list like this already plus we plan on getting pre-marital counselling so all this should come up again as a refresher.
I think these are definitely things to know and discuss prior to marriage, sooo beneficial.

Great! I hope you bees find it as useful as we did 🙂
