SO and I recently made it all the way through “1001 Questions to Ask Before Getting Married” by Monica Mendez Leahy (it only took us several months, haha). The bottom line is that we really enjoyed reading it together 🙂 It was really interesting asking/answering all of the questions posed in the book. We learned so much about each other, even though we had already covered many of the topics in normal conversation, etc. We’ve been raving about it enough that some of our friends in serious relationships have started reading it, too.
Have any of you read this book, or something similar to it? Did you find it useful? Why or why not?

Never even heard of it lol. Since you say you raved about it, I take it you’d recommend reading it prior to marriage?

Boyfriend or Best Friend and I are working through this one. I also recently ordered “Lies at the Altar” from Amaon, which should be coming soon (I ordered it with another book that hasn’t come out in Paperback yet, so I just have to wait a little longer so that I didn’t have to pay for shipping). We’re about 1/4 of the way through and to be honest, I don’t really think any of our answers surprised each other. I don’t think that working through the book so far has changed anything about our relationship, but I can see how it might help some couples.
