I am really happy this week!  Fiance came and met me at work today and took me out to lunch and we talked about all the last minute type things we need to do.  And for whatever reason I am not stressed AT ALL… yet anyway!

I have my moments where I am a bit stressed.  I just started a new job, and that along with the last minute things get to me sometimes.  However, for the most part I am bursting with excitement!  Each time I run into one of our guests they each seem more and more excited!! My shower is this weekend so I am really excited about that too!!  I can’t believe how fast the time has gone!

I am relaxed, but I feel like I shouldn’t be. I really need to get to work on our programs and escort cards, once all the rsvp’s come in. I feel like I’m forgetting the little things too. I have a list, but I hate to look at it sometimes because there’s so much stuff left to do.

30 days…YIKES!! 🙂

Sorry, a 10/10 bride but still only 1 month to go!! Up until 2 days ago I was like, “Can this day hurry up & get here already?! Damnit!!”. I am now less stressed & doing last minute details. I’m starting to get emotional & excited again. I cannot believe that in a month we will be getting married!

stressed here…still have to

-meet with photographer (this weekend)

-book a florist! (this weekend)

-meet w/ restaurant (next weekend)

-book the church musicians…eek…we didn’t even know this was separate from booking church!

-meet officiant to go over programs

then it’s just smaller stuff. I’m just really worried about the ceremony portion right now. I can’t believe we didn’t think about booking the musician beforehand. We thought the church would provide someone, but just learned that we had to book them ourselves 🙁 UGH

@luli29: I know how you feel! I didn’t know we had to book the musicians seperately either. Thankfuly, my FI’s Aunt is a singer and knew who to contact at the church we are getting married at and was able to book the person she wanted to play the organ for her while she sings.

I’m working on the bathrooms baskets this weekend as well as getting the rehearsal dinner invites out. Two more things off my list.

I’m a little worried about all that’s left too! I guess it will either get done or it won’t….it seems like I’ll be able to finish everything, but then on the other hand, I’m worried about the time flying by. Argh! At least I am excited about actually getting married LOL

Oy, I totally forgot about rehearsal dinner invitations until I read this thread.  Crap!!  What a lovely party…shame no one showed up, LOL!

I just finished our programs for the ceremony and the menus for the reception last night.  We need to have them printed, but the files are done.  Next up: work on the placecards and admit to myself that the infamous brain-melter, the seating chart, can no longer be ignored.  We are meeting our caterer, photographer, and planner at the ceremony site on Saturday to go over the schedules, details, set-up, blah blah blah.  We bought $250 worth of beer yesterday, so I have to sit in my house during the one month of my entire life when I would like nothing more than a beer, and not drink it.  D’oh!  Maybe I’ll get an emergency six-pack and ruin my diet.  That’s always fun.

Everyone, amid all your wedding tasks this weekend, make sure you set aside just one hour in which you take a bubble bath, read a good book, do yoga, or meet a friend for coffee.  Take care of you!

Well…I am excited and nervous but feel accomplished? It has gone fairly smoothly, but this past week has been filled with massive drama.

We have a small wedding party, just two girls and guys on each side besides us. With 30 some days to go, the bridal shop called me and mentioned that they REALLY needed to get in touch with my lone bridesmaid, they had tried to no avail, and she had yet to make an appoinment for fittings or a final payment. Cue small panic attack, right? So finally the bridesmaid face books me…she can’t make it to our wedding at all, she has a conference at work she can’t get out of. I could seriously doubt this given the fact that it’s over a holiday weekend, but I’m trying not to focus on it to much. The fact was, I either needed to do some major moving about of people, or get a new bridesmaid to rebalance things out.

K, if you ever read this, I love you. You are the best friend a girl could have, and I will be forever thankfull that you stepped into the role as a Matron of Honor with 30 days warning. Karma cannot possibly pay you back enough for this. I am so glad you look fab in the dress, and I’m beyond happy that you will be there beside me when I become a Mrs!

Now, onto the to do list

-Make seating chart

-Make appointment for final hair trial, reschedule brows

-Dance lessons

-Make detailed day of lists to every member of wedding party for rehearsal dinner-when/where is that, anyway?

-Finalize play list

-Correct program spelling (I managed to spell my future grandmother’s name wrong).

-Celebrate sweetie’s birthday.
