I didn’t test positive until 11 DPO – a BFN on 7 DPO and 10 DPO. I had similar symptoms as you. Good luck!!

PinkGirl24 :  just FYI.. before 8dpo anything you experienced is, almost guaranteed, just regular luteal phase stuff.  Before 6dpo I can guarantee it.

By 10dpo some ppl do notice stuff though.

I don’t mean to be a downer. You could totally be knocked up.. but for me all of those symptoms we’re just luteal phase symptoms.  Some cycles are worse than others for it.

FYI I got pregnant twice over the 11 cycles I tried and the first had all sorts of symptoms like breast pain and implantation bleeding… and the second time (the one that so far looks like it may stick) I had no symptoms until I was already a few days late (and then the nausea kicked in).  My point is: it’s so hard to know what to expect, even if you’ve been pregnant before.  Just test closer to 14dpo and cross your fingers. Good luck!

Since you just came off the pill, this is your first natural cycle in awhile and your hormones are regulating. You could be pregnant, or all these symptoms could just be part of the adjustment to coming off the pill, or this could be your new normal.

Similar to Amanda1988, I had two pregnancies in the 6 months we were TTC (the first ended in MC), and I had zero symptoms with either of those until after I got my BFP. I tihnk the cycle my “symptoms” were craziest was the first cycle I came off the pill, when we weren’t even TTC! I had crazy bloating, nausea, cramping, indigestion – the works – in the second half of my cycle. I was so sure I was pregnant even though, as I said, we weren’t TTC (we were actually preventing!)…but nada.

Anyway, welcome to the crazy mindfuckery of TTC! I hope you get your BFP very soon!

The cycle after I came off the pill, I had all sorts of crazy symptoms – and I’m not even 100% sure I O’d that cycle (looking back after doing some reading during my TTC journey, I think it may have been anovulatory). I kept wavering between thinking I was pregnant and thinking it was just my body adjusting to coming off the pill – it turned out to be the latter. I had similar symptoms around O in the cycles after, although they were nowhere near as pronounced. The cycle I actually got pregnant, I had my usual O symptoms and then didn’t experience any pregnancy symptoms until I was around 5/6 weeks and knew I was pregnant.

So, all this to say that you could be pregnant or it could be your body adjusting to being off the pill. The annoying thing about early pregnancy and O/PMS symptoms is that they’re all fairly similar, so it can be very easy to confuse them! I would wait a few more days before testing again and see how you go. FX for you and hope you get your BFP soon!

Agree with everything all the PPs said. Most of the things you’ve felt since ovulation were related to your luteal phase. I got off the pill about a month before you and thought every single thing was a sign, but no, it’s all the “new” normal for your body off the pill.

That being said, it still could be your month! I didn’t get my BFP till 14 DPO. I had negatives at 9 and 12 DPO.

I was on the pill for 10 years non-stop. When I finally quit, I realized all the period symptoms that the pill had been masking all that time, particularly fatigue, cravings, and sore breasts. I got to understand my body’s natural condition over the next few years, and then when I was actually pregnant, I could sense it before my BFP because of the absence of my usual period symptoms. I actually didn’t get a positive test until 12 dpo, but I started the tests at 8 dpo.

I was on BC (the pill, then Mirena, then the pill) for about 12 years before coming off of it in October. My first few months I was a little all over the place – I was sure my fatigue was pregnancy, I thought I had a stronger sense of smell, peeing more, etc, but every month I got a BFN.

I did have a CP at 6 weeks and that time I got a BFN the day before AF and didn’t get a positive until a week and a half after what I thought was AF ended when I was starting to spot. And that one, I didn’t feel any symptoms. I feel like I had to pee more frequently, but that’s about it.

Try to relax a little and hopefully everything will happen soon!
