When I was scouring the internet before getting engaged, I could not get enough of real moissanite pictures. I figure it’s time to reciprocate!
My ring is 1.1 carat equivalent (5.5 mm) square brilliant, which I guess is also known as princess. It is set in palladium, which looks a little rose-colored in this picture, but it looks just like platinum in person. That’s just my skin reflecting in the picture. The stone and setting are from Moissanite & Co (Style sol161). My finger is a size 6.5.
This is taken in direct sunlight with a point and shoot camera, no fancy settings. I was wearing a pink top and it’s kind of interesting how you can see it almost reflected in one of the facets. Direct sunlight makes moissanite just go absolutely crazy with sparkle! It is more toned down indoors unless there is really particular lighting, like in a jewelry store. (Not sure about diamond but I assume the same??) Photos indoors didn’t do it justice like the sunlight does.
