looking to see if this has happened to anyone else’s little ones…my daugther is 11 months old and during the night or anytime she goes to sleep she pulls her knees to her chest, clenches her fists, grabs tight to whatever is near hear (usually her blanket or clothes), and gets really sweaty. her bowel movements are normal, nothing in her diet has changed & i’ve tried gas drops. we tried reflux medicine but that didn’t help. i just want relief for my baby & a good night’s rest for us both!

i would think it’s gas or heartburn. does it only happen when she lies down? that may be a clue. what does the doctor say?

yep – only when she lies down and even more so at night time. the doctor first gave us zantac thinking it may be reflux – but recently gave us probiotics to mix in with some of her food

Could she be having a nightmare?

Is there a way to elevate her upper body slightly while she sleeps? If it’s reflux that should help a bit.

My daughter did that when she was having tummy issues (constipated)

To me that sounds more like gas or constipation that reflux. Poor kiddo! Hope you can figure it out.

Could there be a food allergy involved? Sometimes sensitivites emerge later. Have you tracked whether certain things you eat trigger it more?
