I’m looking to use 12oz mason jars with handles as part of my seat assignment/favors for my guests. I’m probably going to need about 125 of them.
I found some places online that you can get them for cheap… but then the shipping pretty much doubles the price. Anywhere I find them in an actual store they either don’t have a handle or they are too big (if my guests want to use it during the reception the hall says they have to be 12oz)
Any thoughts on where I would be able to get these without paying an arm and a leg for shipping?

Have you tried yard sales? Approaching restaurants that might have them that you can rent them from? The Classfieds here? Or similar at other wedding sites?
Mason jars are gorgeous and they are very in vogue so I am sure you can find them!

I was just at a Dollar Tree the other day and they had mason jars with handles BUT, there was like a chicken embossed on it. It wasn’t really noticable, but it was there. Thought I would throw it out there though, who knows maybe the glass chicken embossment adds to your theme! 🙂

I got my mason jars at Walmart, bought wire at a craft store and made the handles myself. It was super easy, cheap, and there are online tutorials if you don’t know how to twist the wire to make a handle.

Bed, Bath & Beyond sells them. Start collecting your 20% off coupons now. 🙂
I think I’ve seen them on Amazon, too. I don’t remember if Amazon proper sells them, but if they do and you know someone with a prime membership you can get free 2-day shipping.

Do you have an Old Time Pottery anywhere near you? I just bought 4 of exactly what you’re describing for super cheap. They always have them! I would call the store and see if they have them in stock and if they don’t order them to the store to avoid shipping costs.
