I am moving and need to sell quickly. I tried to show photos of the dress in action, you can find images of the dress on a model standing still online on Olvi’s website, but part of the joy of this dress was how comfortable, versatile and beautiful it was to wear!! Last two photos of the dress were taken today.
The dress is stunning ivory lace with champagne underlining, which really popped against all of the greenery in my outdoor wedding. The overall effect is still a white wedding dress, but with more depth. One of the best features of the dress is that the fabric is form fitting, but not tight–it was light and comfortable on a hot August day. I could move while looking elegant. The champagne color underneath created this great visual effect that meant I didn’t need to wear any Spanx to get a perfect flat tummy look.
The dress has a V-neck and V-back that are sexy, however still appropriate for my religious wedding, with a subtle but present train that worked on both flooring and grass/patio. Plus I could wear a standard bra, for the ladies out there who dread strapless or cups, a little bit of fabric tape to keep the dress in place and a low V neck bra did the trick!
No holes, no grass stains, no sweat stains.
I am obsessed with this wedding dress and wish I could take it with me. Please message with any questions, I love talking about this gorgeous dress! I have the original receipt to prove date/list price/color/size. Please let me know if you want additional info/photos.
The label of the dress is size 3 European, I am typically size 2-4 US. The dress length fit is currently to 5’8 inclusive of shoes.
I had two pin tucks added to the back; given the forgiving stretchiness of the fabric this should not interfere in fit. The lace is gently tacked to the underlining with occasional small stitches at the bottom. You could undo this without damaging the dress if you wanted.
I added one clear button for a bustle. When bustled, the dress still lays beautifully and the fabric doesn’t hang heavy off your backside. Given the simplicity of the dress, alterations were shockingly affordable.
