I have a 1.3mm plain band on my current ering. I’ve worn it since mid-Jan and it’s already warped. I honestly didn’t realise, but I went to check the size of it the other day, and the put it on those cone-shaped ring sizers and it was definitely not round any more! I wear this ring every day, but never to bed, just for reference. Be aware too that over the years the gold does wear away, so your band will be thinner in 5-10 years than it starts out. This may or may not be noticable, particularly if there are stones in it.

My wedding ring is very thin – I’m not married yet so don’t know how it will hold up but it seems pretty sturdy…

@Kelzu: my engagement ring is a ritani French set v halo? At least I think that’s what it’s called lol
And thank you for the lovely compliment!

I love the dainty, elegant beauty of thin bands. Beautiful rings ladies!

Gorgeous rings ladies. Thank you for sharing!! I went ahead and ordered the ring. It was relatively inexpensive. If it ever started to warp or anything like that, I’m sure I could just have the stones put into a new setting. I’m really excited!

I’m personally not a fan of thin bands (Anything under 2mm) I feel like they are too dainty to last a lifetime. I used to work in the jewellery industry and would see a lot of wedding rings that have worn very thin over time.

I just had to tell you how much I love the combination of your set..I’m usually not big on yellow gold, but yours so sooo classic and elegant, yet modern at the same time. Very pretty!
