I know there are several other posts on here: but I am wanting to see the difference between 1.5 ct solitaires and 1-1.5 ct round centre stones with halo bands. My boyfriend and I have been shopping around for a while now and I started off sold on solitaires: then had a love affair with the halo settings and am back to being unsure. I asked if I could have one of each haha;) I wear am a size 6.5 and will be getting a yellow gold ring.
Thank you in advance for sharing your time and photos with me!

Try thinking about the long term and also think about the wedding band you want.
I have an emerald cut solitaire and originally I wanted an emerald cut with 1 baguette on each side. I opted to go with the solitaire because I felt like the baguettes limited me to getting a wedding band with baguettes and I couldn’t really play around with fun and mismatched bands as much. Also, solitaires are classic. In 50 years that solitaire round stone will still be in style because they’re classic.
Mine’s a 1.2 and it’s not round, but I’ll post a photo anyway.
