@inwaiting:  THanks!  It really depends on the cut and dimensions as far as how big they face up.  We looked at stones raging from 1-2 carats and there are noticeable differences, but they aren’t huge differences. You can tell a slight difference betwewn 1.5-2 when they’re right next to each other, but when the guy would show me one at a time, I’d have no idea which was which!  I think 1.5 with a halo will be a great size.

@inwaiting:  Not married yet, just found the band photo on pinterest.  If I go looking and get to try them on side-by-side I will take a picture and post for you, but I don’t think I’ll start looking until after the Holidays, my Fiance is getting stressed out about all the deposits we’ve been putting down in the past few months :/

@inwaiting:  I prefer the cushion only because it looks more antique-y. It faces up a bit smaller, but I like the overall look better.  If you are into the sparkliest sparkle imaginable, then I would go for the Round Brilliant 🙂

@kellynn323:  That’s actually a photo of a bracelet, though it does look like a wedding ring.

@lulu_honey:  Ha!  Thanks for letting me know 🙂  Maybe I can get something like that made into a nice wedding band, I think it would look lovely with my ring.

@inwaiting:  Will do, apparently the band I was in love with is a photo of a braclet, lol!!  I bet I can get something like that made into a ring.  Will let you know once I start looking, my wedding is in September next year, 9/6.  Post photos once you decide on a ring!!

@kellynn323:  Haha, no worries! It’s all over pinterest and everyone thinks it’s a wedding band–I did too. It definitely would be a gorgeous ring!

@inwaiting:  thank you! and of course! 1.53 Round Brilliant, F, VS2, XXX, cushion halo (just under 1 cm total width), 2.28 tcw. The band has 3 rows of tiny pave diamonds.  The most important part to me was to not have an airline – the space between the center stone and the halo.  I wanted the top of the center stone to sit on top of the halo.  Here is a side view as well.  Love that you can see the point 🙂

I have the same size finger as you do…and I have an over 2 ct oval diamond solitaire…after 6 months of wearing it it shrunk…and it looks small to me…anyways….your 1.5ct +halo wouldnt be too big..trust me…it might be too be for the first 2 week..
