It was supposed to happen on Christmas morning but he was just so excited he couldn’t wait and did it at home, in our PJs, on Christmas Eve as we opened our stockings. It was perfect. I’m still in shock, and couldn’t really sleep for 2 nights due to excitement lol. We’re over the moon and giggle every time we say “fiancé(e)”.

mrsbh2016: Ahhh, thank you!! He ordered it from an etsy shop and as it turns out the hand model has much bigger hands than me, so the stone is quite a bit larger on me than anticipated. I feel very fancy haha. It’s so pretty.

Secondly, it’s an aquamarine! It’s actually been hard to capture the exact colour in a photo, in the one I posted it looks very dark. It’s actually a very very pale blue/green.
