I’m so excited to be posting on this board, now! Hi ladies! I look forward to getting to know you all.. :]
A bit about DH, myself and our history: I’m S (30), he’s B (32) and, we’ve been together for going on 12 years. Just got married the end of August (FINALLY!). We have one DD (A–8-years-old) who is the light of our lives, and is the greatest. child. EVER. No, really.. EVER. I know I’m bias, but you can’t blame me–she really is a saint (and SOO smart), lol.
Anyway, now that the wedding has passed, we’re actively trying for baby #2. YAY! Obviously with a DD who is 8, it’s about time we added a new member to the family (and if Mother-In-Law had any say, we’d be having twins–boys, at that).
I wouldn’t really count this cycle as TTC (more NTNT), but I think hitting 17DPO (cycle day 34) with a BFN is getting to me more than I’d like to admit.. especially when experiencing symptoms (extreme breast tenderness, fatigue, heartburn, etc.) I had when pregnant before.
Lucky for me, DH has been an awesome shoulder for me to lean on, telling me that if we’re definitely out for this cycle, we’ll go at it full-steam, next one. I think he’s just as excited as I am. :]
So, that’s my story. I’m pretty sure we’re out for this month, but we shall see..
Does anyone have any late DPO BFP stories to share? It may help my moodiness.. lol.

Sorry for the BFN, but as you may know, it takes some time. I’ve been with my husband 10 years, married 2. I got my BFP in late August after 8 months of trying. Every month was such a disappointment, but it will happen! It did!
Enjoy the process, and good luck next month!

Thanks do much–and congrats on your BFP! Here’s to a happy, healthy few months ahead for you! :]
I’m not too discouraged, just more-so surprised at how much I want this to happen, really. After waiting so long, I guess it’s natural, though.. well, I assume.
DD was a surprise to us all those years ago (DH pulled out, but obviously a bit too late, lol), so going from a surprise to TTC with no luck is a different pill to swallow. But, like you said, it’ll happen!

@brighteyedgirl: I’m sorry about the BFN hopefully you get a BFP soon!
Sorry to be forward, but are your cycles usually regular? Unfortunately I have super long cycles since coming off BCP, I ovulated on CD33 last cycle? Is it possible you ovulated late this cycle?

@nzgirl: Thanks so much! I’m hoping it doesn’t take too long.. I’m already irked that we waited as long as we did, lol. I’m not going to stress over it, though. It’ll happen when it happens (I’m just impatient).
My cycles are usually pretty regular. I ovulate anywhere from day 15-17, and my cycles average about 30-32 days. I’ve never been on BC, just have a slightly longer cycle.
