If you are actually late, a pregnancy test will be accurate no matter what time of day or how diluted your urine is. It’s very common during these Covid times for people with regular cycles to be a little off from time to time, most likely you have ovulated later than you think.  There’s always still a chance until af arrives.

Do you keep track of your ovulation signs? If so, were they on time this cycle? If so, I would think you have a good chance of being pregnant (assuming you had sex during your fertile window, of course). I would test again tomorrow FMU.

Personally, I had a blaring positive at 16dpo when I was pregnant. But I have heard stories of people who didn’t get a positive test until later!

I had a dye stealer 5 days before my missed period and my best friend is the opposite – 3 pregnancies and never tests positive until her period is over a week late. Usually by the time you’ve missed your period you should be able to get an accurate result but every pregnancy is different!

I’d put money on the fact that you ovulated late.  When I was pregnant and tracking ovulation through BBT and tracking CM, I had a blaring positive by 11DPO.  If you’re truly 17DPO and any of the symptoms you’ve described above are related to pregnancy, you’d have an obviously positive test by now.  If you have HCG levels strong enough to produce physical symptoms, you’d be able to turn a positive test.

For peace of mind. I’d strongly suggest tracking O so that you know in the future, because the TTC rollercoaster can be a wild ride.
