Since finding Wedding Bee Ive looked at alot of rings on this site and found that I love the look of vintage rings. Esp Art Deco style. I started looking at them on Etsy, and came across this sellers store.
Ive never bought anything from Etsy before, so I was just browsing, but I came across this 1932 ring, in my size, with the date 32 7*5 and the name Bernie engraved in it. An adorable vintage ring with an 80 year old love story attached? Be still my beating heart! So I showed it to my husband. He was like, “Say what? You want someone elses ring? You dont even know these people, thats so creepy! Get it if you want it but its probably haunted.” So I just let it go. But I kept thinking about it, kept looking at the ring, so I just took the plunge and bought the thing. (The next day my husband was like, “Do you really want that ring? You should buy it.” and I was like, “Uh, I bought it last night.” LOL)
So the seller was FANTASTIC with communitcation, mailed it immediatly and it arrived in 2 days. Unfortunatly I noticed when it arrived that the diamond was very loose in the setting. (Seriously?! Can I buy a ring without an issue?! I have the worst ring luck ever!) I was very surprised because she seller had taken such care to list every detail of the ring in the listing, small things I didnt even notice, so I convo-ed her and told her I think the stone came loose in shipping. The seller was sooo apologetic, had me mail it right back to her, paid for my shipping, took it to her personal jeweler and had him work on it, no cost to me, and then shipped it right back. Total time was about a week for the repairs and shipping, and I paid nothing.
So it was a very positive first Etsy purchase and I would not hesitate to buy anything from this shop again. She has wonderful feedback and was really a nice honest person. So anyone looking for gorgeous vintage jewelry should definitely check out her store. Husband still refers to it as my “creepy” ring, even though he smiles every time he says it now.
