@msgiraffe:  It’s maybe not so creative, but I’m probably going to get my hubby a book.

I am considering getting a picture of the night sky from our wedding night in Mexico from indigonight.com, they are very reasonably priced

@msgiraffe:  Possibly, The Search for God and Guinness: A Biography of the Beer that Changed the World– Stephen Mansfield

or

Pint-Sized Ireland: In Search of the Perfect Guinness – Evan McHugh

But I like the idea of the picture of the sky!

On the actual day we are just going to eat and opening our bottle of champagne we got on our wedding night 🙂 The next week we are celebrating and going on a cruise hopefully!

Why dont yall go out to yalls favorite place to eat, come home and have him a love note, and open a bottle of wine or champagne, take a shower together and bring it to the bedroom? lol Im sure any guy would love that 😀 If you are wanting to get him something, im no help lol… maybe cologne?

I gave hubby a share of stock to a place that meant something to him.  He wasn’t thrilled by the gift, but he was appreciative of course.  But at the end of the year, when they mailed him his dividends, we both chuckled.  It’s the gift that keeps on giving!!

@Ashley1001:  I actually LOVE that idea!

I’m going to gift him a poster. It sounds odd put I found this great place online that will do custom posters and so I’m going to have one made that has visual representations of our nicknames for eachother plus our son’s nickname and have say “Family Established 2011” or something similar.

I’m also going to have his favorite quote made into a smallish poster for his desk at work.

I did a Boudoir Shoot for the One Year! I also got his watch batteries replaced, because clock is another gift for the first year.

I’m getting our wedding vows turned into art.  I’m having them hand caligraphied (is that a word? LOL) on nice paper.  The artist is also hand painting a border.  Then I’m having it matted and framed.  I know there are more affordable options however where they can put your vows on a decorative certificate.

ETA:  I LOVE the idea of boudoir pics…perhaps for Christmas!
