@penguinof3:  That sounds like a ton of fun! For our first anniversary, Darling Husband and I recreated our wedding reception dinner – I also got the top tier of our wedding cake remade as an ice cream cake. ๐Ÿ™‚

Man, if we had the money I’d schedule a really cool photo shoot with us in our wedding attire…like him dipping me into the water at the beach or something….but no, nothing of the sort…

Our wedding was a very stressful time (nostly because of family and friends not being very considerate of it being our day), although it turned out absouvley beutiful and although we were very happy, it was just more work and stress than either of us had impagined. We never even got to give eachother a gift, I never even got to say any of the things I imagined I would get to say to him on our wedding day….the whole day was just go-go-go….like being on a mission.

So, my plain is to give him a gift that I would have liked to give him on our wedding day and also write down all the things I wish I had had a chance to tell him that day…and we just plan to maybe take drive, have a very nice dinner, eat some weddiing cake (or actually I will just back a cake and top it with some of the sugar flowers that was left from our wedding cake since we actually didn’t get to save any wedding cake) and then well, you know.

Your idea sounds fun, as much as I’d liek to celebrate with the bridal party as their involvment meant the world to us, I think for me, I just want to celebrate with Darling Husband.
