MrsPhilly: I am 24 wks tomorrow with my first and I got my first movements/kicks at about 21+4/5. DH felt him move a day or two after I did the first time.
This morning was the first time I saw my belly move from the outside and I feel him move almost every day. Some days it’s just a single kick or two other days he’s full on redecorating my organs (like this morning!) when he’ll move for 15-20 min constantly.

I started to feel flutters at 16 weeks and at 18 weeks very distinct kicks that could be seen from the outside on my stomach!

almondsyrup: wow! SEE from the outside from 18 weeks. How cool! I was told by my doc not to expect to feel anythjng until 20weeks. So I’ll run with that so that I’m not disappointed or worried haha

I felt my first at 20 weeks first thing in the morning when I was lay in bed, I put my hand on my belly and could also feel it on the outside. Felt my second at 17 weeks, currently 10 weeks pregnant with no 3 and can’t wait to feel movement!

MrsPhilly: I have anterior placenta so I was worried I wouldn’t feel kicks until very late, but I started feeling flutters around 18 weeks and first kicks at about 20 weeks. I’m 23 weeks now and I feel baby kick almost everyday, sometimes little kicks and other times they are so strong they surprise me! My Darling Husband has only felt baby kick twice because only the really strong ones are enough to be felt outside, everything else I can just feel internally.

MrsPhilly: I’ve only had 1 pregnancy and I felt her move around 16 weeks! Little flutters and there was no denying it was baby and my husband could feel it from outside by 18 weeks.

I felt 3 little taps early on (before 15 weeks). I was sitting twisted around in my chair at work talking to a coworker and ‘tap, tap, tap’. I looked shocked, even my coworker stopped talking. I could never get it to happen again and I wrote it off as gas or similar. A few weeks later I felt a wave in my abdomen. I was settling in bed on my back and I’d just finished some warm milk with honey to try to help me sleep. It was if there was a wave going back and forth in my stomach. I figured that one had to be the baby moving around a bit.
At 20 weeks my aunt passed away. Obviously I was emotional. The day of the funeral the baby moved non-stop. No kicks, just movement. That was the first day I really knew it was the baby and not gas or something else. I’ve felt him every day since then.

I didn’t feel any flutters because I have an anterior placenta. Didn’t really feel anything until 24/25 weeks.
