I was really worried when I went to try on my dress again for the first time after it came in.  I absolutely loved it and was so happy.

You picked your dress for a reason, I’m sure you’ll be just as happy when you get to try it on again!

I was lucky that my dress fit perfectly though.  It had a corset back and just needed cups added and the hem shortened.

If you need alterations try not to worry!  They are good at what they do and once you see your dress fitting you perfectly I bet you’ll love it =)

I had the same fear.  But, the dress is pretty and I like it still.  Don’t worry, it will be okay.

@sbharkness83 – Hi date twin and dress fear twin!!  My first fitting is tomorrow and I’m totally freaked out.  I am trying to remind myself that I picked it for a reason, but that’s not calming my fears right now!!  I am sending you positive thoughts for when you see your dress again!!  🙂

I went with the Maggie Sottero Primavera. I think if I had to pick a dress all over again I would have went with something different, but I love all wedding dresses so I was never going to want just one. 🙂

Hey date twin! I had no fears at all. When i saw my dress I started shaking with excitement, and fell more in love with it than when I first picked it out. If you have a great seamstress that knows what she is doing, then you should not have any fears. My advice to you is make sure you scrutinize everything. If you see something that you think is not quite right, speak up. I had my mom go with me on my first fitting. When I put my gown on, the seamstress had me walk out onto the floor, and we noticed that the sides of my gown were just a smidge too long, and started to curl under when I walked. I didn’t even notice it and if It wasn’t for my mom it would have been left that way. After the seamstress pinned the skirt to the length where we thought it should be, she had me walk again, and it was soooo much better. During my second fitting, I noticed that the bustle wasn’t quite right and there was some material touching the floor, so we pointed that out and she is going to fix it. I have 1 more fitting the first week in October, and then I am done! Other than that, my seamstress is a miracle worker, and her work is amazing!
